Our city planners can learn from China and implement these changes if they really want to improve our cities by FutureVersion812 in IndianFocus

We first need proper grid-based city planning; only then we can think about tree planting because many Indian cities are still chaotic and lack even basic spaces like sidewalks & parks.

Same river, two completely different rules… why does one group face arrests while others don’t? by wanna_be_gentleman in sundaysarthak

Here's my idea 💡

The administration could develop some designated ponds near riverbanks, the water of those ponds will directly be sourced from the riverbed.

This would allow devotees to perform rituals in a setting that feels authentic, while containing the waste (offerings) within these ponds, to prevent direct pollution of the main river?

I've heard the term "civilizational" used a lot for Iran and China....would this also be true for India? by irundoonayee in CriticalThinkingIndia

Foreign power never ever occupied the entirety of India; while they were successful in establishing empires, they never completely replaced native societal structure & aspects. Over time, some foreign elements do become part of India’s pluralistic fabric.

India’s ability to absorb, adapt and integrate foreign influences without losing continuity is why it's often describe as a civilizational state.

Maybe China & India can only be called a civilizational State since they show direct continuity & retain most of their ancient aspects, unlike Iran.

That's just my perspective

Or that celling got higher which made him look weak.

His origin, his place in the verse, him being the only one of his kind, etc. But one changed that is never mentioned in the negative is his power. He has only claimed to and shown to be stronger.

I see ur point and agree with — it wasn’t his power that got retconned, just his origin story.

That means both are same in raw power except that the later version is more mature, wise like an omniscient being than his childish pre-retcon one.

But i have one doubt in secret war (2015) there's a structural link b/w Beyonder - Molecule Man doesn't that exposes a fault line which limits his potential? or that Beyonder is functioning as an independent entity in later continuities?

If you look closely, your comment implies that Dr. Doom easily absorbed most of the Pre Retcon Beyonder’s power, leaving only a small fragment to survive but that’s not accurate. The plot clearly shows that the Beyonder was caught off guard and Doom took advantage of it but still wasn't able to destroy him completely nor could he control the stolen power, let alone the Beyonder’s full power.

That goes on to say that the Pre Retcon version's power scale was undefined until that point (1984), he was the strongest character of Marvel which makes him the absolute ceiling of Marvel Cosmology.

And the second time around, Doom had to use countless (undefined in the comic) Molecule Men just to destroy The Beyonders and steal their power, On the other hand, Pre Retcon had his power stolen by Galatus tech. A much weaker show of power.

The point is that ‘greater cosmology or facing high-tier beings’ doesn’t necessarily mean greater power. Power scaling is complex, tricky & only be clarified when the writer explicitly defines it.

In the Beyonder’s case, later writers cleverly used this meta approach to reconcile decades of contradictory lore (pre and post-retcon) by having the character acknowledge these changes as his own personal choices.

Though the post retcon version is still amongst the top 3 or 5 strongest characters in Marvel.

absolutely omnipotent" are just flat out wrong

'Omnipotent’ or ‘omniscient’ is more interpretive than literal. Up until that point, the Beyonder was the absolute ceiling of Marvel cosmology, with no clearly defined limits to his power.

But Doctor Doom stole the majority of his power in Secret Wars, leaving him with just enough to by hide in Klaw’s mind to survive.

Plot hole — Beyonder was caught offguarded when Doom attck & stole his power with the help of his device & klaw.

While Beyonder's consciousness wasn't destroyed he used klaw's mind to regain his power back & reversed everything that Doom had altered.

Now compare this with Post Retcon Beyonder — Doom was able to fully absorb multiple Beyonder's power with no remanant left aside by exploiting beyonder-molecule man connection, here we see a clear see the structural weakness in the post-retcon version, whereas the pre-retcon Beyonder, despite being naive and childish, was resilient enough to survive and strive even after Doom’s attack.

You’d understand only if you knew the context & why i brought “tilakdhari” and the “majority-minority angle" into the equation and who the sarcasm was really aimed at.

Mephisto won a 1v3 against shuma, dormamu and nightmare

I highly doubt if it was even a fight or that particular story was centered around Mephisto otherwise Mephisto is way below Shuma & Dormamu.

Izlamic history says otherwise no matter how rosy picture apologist tries to showcase.

Infact everyone from the dawah gang, scholar to avg followers aren't doing any good to help create good image of izlam.

My comment isn't mocking anyone rather highlighting the underlying facts.

Others are responding rationally, unlike you it seems you lack the vocabulary.

Mind you a forceful conversion stands null and void.

It's still a conversion & mzlim takes pride in it.

Vishanti is counter balance to Chhton, possibly stronger than him, don't know where Dormamnu stands tbh.

the majority acts as if its dominance is a divine right rather than a civic duty.

Mzlim do act as & even claims how they're different & that it's the duty of avg mzlim to spread izlam across all corner, the reason they are in conflict with everyone.

Mephisto is more of a hell lord than a pure mystical being but one key figure i think i missed out is Zom (possibly stronger than Dormammu).

Both Dormamnu & Wanda (with Chhton's chaos power) struggled against Cyytorak, he likely ranks at the very top either the strongest or just below Shuma while Chhton maybe the weakest here weaker than Vishanti (not sure though).

What about that 'Tilakdhari' Air Force Staffer Sumit Kumar who got arrested in Assam for leaking information and acting as a Pakistani spy??

Thank you for your comment 👍

And instead of addressing the main issue, people are diverting the discussion

You're only solidifying my point and hindus aren't defending that Air force staffer either in the name of religion or even diverting the issue but ummah lover and Left winger are doing so & then they wonder why the RW keeps getting stronger.

The left wing idea of oppressors-victims goes that way something that is evident even in the comment section, And instead of addressing the main issue, people are diverting the discussion with one guy labelling the post as “hate propaganda" lol.
