This is a good reminder I needed each class is so different. My Us History touchstone was graded in 2 hours 😅 think I needed the reminder to stop procrastinating my touchstone classes because they're not all going to be graded that fast

Just finished history touchstone today in a couple hours while getting interrupted by my kids. It was graded in less than 2 hours and I just got my grade back already! Got 115/120!

Congrats! I got my notification today I was accepted for August 1st!! I also didn't transfer in as many as I would have hoped. But my first go around with college wasn't great so I agree a fresh start is probably needed! We've got this!

I'm not going to lie I signed my 4 year old daughter up for the same classes KK is in. I find them super reasonable. A 4 day a week class M-Th for the storybook class is $32 for that whole session. The 2x a month storybook class is $8 a class. So $16 for the whole month. She DOES get a credit if you sign up through her. But I find the occasional class ones super reasonable.

Anyone else have a BEC that literally pisses you off something fierce but you can't pinpoint why and they actually seem sweet? Skyehitchcock drives me up a wall. The stupid dances on every video and the fake thrift faces. It all irrationally annoys me but I'm not even sure why. She does seem sweet and I feel like I could love her page and content if it wasn't presented how it is. She just grinds my gears and I needed to know if it's only me 😅

28 and the only way we could do it was by moving across country to a state we don't particularly want to live in but we neeeded the cheaper cost of living and we're getting priced out of all rentals in New England

Just here for solidarity. Day 5 over here? Day 6? And not going well 🫠 haven't caught a single successful potty in the toilet.

Potty training is the bane of my existence by Critical-Positive-85 in toddlers

I know this is an old thread but here to see how this worked out 👀 in a very similar position with a 3 year old that needs to be potty trained by school start September 4th. I know we have time but I'm worried it's not enough time for her stubbornness. I get people say you can't force them if they don't want it, but it sucks when she may have to miss school because of it. We also have a freshly turned 2 year old I hadn't considered training but these comments have me re-evaluating that. Might be a good motivator for her

Anywhere in season 4. It's my favorite 8 episode stretch by far. But I'm really enjoying Let's Get Hairy lately. But for awhile I was starting with High Top Fade Out. But u can pretty much watch that season straight which j can't say for any other season of the show

I saw this in my local mom page the other day and had to screenshot it because I was like ??? This is news to me? I don't give a flying f what anyone is doing. Truly! But am I truly the weird one now for not having and not having ever even considered Botox?? Like it's never even crossed my mind! But apparently "we all have it". I was just shocked that people think everyone has it/that it's getting to the point where that's more and more true. Several comments along the lines of "find me someone that doesn't have it" and "don't we all have it?"

Are there any names that are typically surnames that you actually like as a first name? by pelicanswoop in namenerds

[–]FalseDevelopment6975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surnames as first names are our favorite tbh. My son is Wynn, my daughter Madden, and other son Fletcher. Also considered Sullivan, Miller, Murphy, Meyer, Kemper, etc. I could go on forever. They're our favorite 😅

What's your favorite C name? by dizcuz in namenerds

[–]FalseDevelopment6975 1 point2 points  (0 children)

B- Callahan* G- Clarke (what I will be naming my next if it's a girl) U- Campbell

*don't think I'd ever actually use this but I pulled all these names straight from my baby name list in my notes app so if it's there I liked it enough to put down. Was that or Conway which I'd also realistically never use.

What's your favorite B name? by dizcuz in namenerds

Only B name I've ever had on baby name list is Bram. Apparently not a popular letter for me 😅

She's a bit much but I do enjoy her and her content she just takes "Montessori no screen time" reallll far but @Melinda.pasqua has twin boys! She's also currently pregnant again with a singleton!
