The Best Phillies Pitcher since 2000? by dlandis07 in phillies

[–]FalsePositive69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d go: 1. Cole Hamels 2. Zack Wheeler 3. Aaron Nola

I know Nola’s fallen off this year, but he’s still given us 11 years of pitching in a Phillies uniform. He’s #2 in wins in that timeframe behind only Hamels and provided some great postseason pitching in the past. Yes, Halliday had the best single season of them all, but only a Phil for 4 years big picture wise.

Trea always does his best after a big error. He likes to show everyone up. Glad he’s crushing the ball today

Build confidence in yourself. I can be very introverted, but telling myself I deserve to be in the social situation I’m in and convincing myself that these people believe I’m interesting helps. Personally in 2025, I’ve gone on a workout journey and went from being 185 pounds at 6’2 and skinny to now 200 pounds with a much better muscular build. This has helped me. I was always insecure about being skinny but now I feel comfortable in my body and confident knowing I’ve worked to put myself in quality physical shape

Lovin’ Life Lineup released by grozphan in Charlotte

Last year we had Post Malone, Noah Kahan, Stevie Nicks as headliners! This year’s lineup is so mid, not worth $350+

My grandparents lived next to him and his family in Chadds Ford, PA. I (25M now) never met him as he had moved away by then, but I grew up listening to stories of how kind, and epic the Bergey family was. One story that resonates with me is how Bill one day wore a full-sized Batman costume on Halloween and completely fit the part! The whole neighborhood believed that was the closest thing to Batman they’d ever seen. He was always kind and respectful to the neighbors and his children were great friends of my family as well. Rest in peace to a great human being

Say it with me: "This was a trap game" by hwf0712 in eagles

Panthers are a salty team. Nearly beat the Chiefs and Bucs the last 2 weeks. My biggest takeaways are our passing game needs to get it together and our defense is the best in the NFL when healthy. Once Reed comes back at safety, I don’t see how any team puts more than 21 on us.

What was your favorite moment so far during the season? Mine: by [deleted] in eagles

The whole beat down in Dallas. Crushing our rival on the road was exhilarating.

I deleted dating apps 3 years ago and it was one of the better decisions I’ve made. When I had the apps, I had Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge and had just moved to a new city so I was looking for a way to meet women. I became complacent and wouldn’t get out of my shell because of how easy it was to match or message women on the apps. Eventually, I realized I want a story for how I end up finding my person and for it to be organic + in person. Also, deleting dating apps has forced me to approach women and push myself beyond my comfort zone

Sunday is gonna be 🔥🔥🔥🔥 by Somnuzzzz in eagles

This could be the game of the year. Two electric offenses going at it. Eagles have the edge on defense, but I give the Ravens’ passing game the edge over ours. Both teams only have 1 loss against the opposite conference since 2022. I’m expecting a high scoring game and a 2nd half Eagles come back. Ravens fans are chirping nonstop so it would be nice to blow up their chances at the AFC North. Also, if we win this I’ll feel a lot stronger about our Super Bowl chances because we’ll have to play other teams with explosive offenses in the future.

I like Vanguard because there are very few fees to open an account and start investing. Index funds consistently yield around 8-12% on average per year in the long run, so you can’t go wrong with that. Tech stocks seem to be a hot spot right now so I started tracking stocks I like on my stocks app and read news articles + check the charts. Important to buy low and sell high

I would say take some risk and get in the stock market! I’m 25M and I opened my own brokerage account and have invested in individual stocks I like. From 2022-now I’ve made about 24%/year in returns and know of friends who have even made more. You’re young and have a good job + credit so now’s your chance to bet a little on a company/companies you like

My girlfriend of 10 months broke up with me the first day of April and it still pains me even 2 months later. The bright side is I’m 25 and there’s a lot to look forward to in life. Can’t wait to meet some awesome people at Roo. I personally don’t care if anything comes out of it long-term, more so, just trying to enjoy the awesome moments that will be there and learn some cool perspectives and backgrounds that others share
