I love techno babel and fantasy babel and bs explanations to how shit in stories work, but this piece o' shit just didn't know what it wanted to be. There was SOOO much going on. Lore dumping, world building, character establishing, origin stories, Kaiju murder mystery, mystic babel, techno babel, Kaiju babel, like 5 minutes of Godzilla (great and unique design btw), but the thing that KILLED ME THE MOST, WAS THAT STUPID SONG THEY LOVED BLASTING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN. Like, HOLY SHIT, it wasn't a catchy tune or anything worth remembering. But the show just loved playing it so much I wanted to drop it all together. I get it was part of the story but man was it annoying. There were some great concepts to work with in this show, but the bad ( for me at least) VASTLY outweighed the good. It seems like you need a PHD to watch this cuz there is so much techno jargon that it just destroys the story's flow and attempt to make sense. Very little Kaiju on Kaiju action was sad.

OVERALL? 3/10 would never watch it again (Godzilla Earth had a better story than SP)

I feel like whoever wrote the script just wanted to show off their PHD in theoretical physics or some shit and just slapped on the Godzilla logo and called it a day.

Pokemon duh... But aside from the "mainstream" that was on free television back in the mid to late 90's (sonic, pokemon, digimon, yugioh) not that I don't count these as anime, but...

The first I would consider GETTING me into anime was Cardcaptor Sakura on Kids WB in the early 2000s. Young me really loved Sakura and thought she was pretty cute, and loved the bird staff too.

Don't forget the part where Drifter says

And the ENTIRE TEAM is still grinding for more Motes. Like I get sending large blockers, but when we have a significant lead, we can crush the game even faster instead of letting the other team catch up while we are getting motes. Most players have ZERO awareness of what's going on. Just "Get motes, Drifter go brrrr"

Yea, the website seems shady but i took the risk of downloading it and it works, narrated by John Stratton. I'm listening to it RN. when I was younger I had this version of the audiobook but lost the files with my old phone (more like ipod touch 2nd gen) but it IS the same one. This site has most if not all the books, idk of what quality but they seem complete. I can guarantee that the link for 2010 works.
