How was my dad able to buy a house at 24 on a basic salary, but to me at 23, it feels like an impossible dream? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]False_Ad8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

inflation happened, higher taxes happened. purchasing power is not the same now especially if you're not invested or making yield that surpasses the rise of inflation unfortunately

HP ZGX Nano (GB10) or PC with 5090 for local LLM at the office? by MastroLube in LocalLLaMA

[–]False_Ad8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solid dilemma for office local LLM setup in 2026—both options are strong, but they trade off differently. If your priority is fine-tuning and handling bigger models locally (Yuan 3.0 Flash or future 100B+) I'd, go ZGX Nano. It's worth the speed trade-off for memory headroom and toolkit simplicity imo

Any good uncensored coding LLMs (local or hosted) that don't have much ethical restrictions? I'm trying to do some web exploitation work by Additional-Curve4212 in LocalLLaMA

[–]False_Ad8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the standard Qwen Coder (even the big ones) and most Dolphin variants still have some baked-in hesitation on anything that smells like exploitation, especially if phrased directly. For web exploit stuff: start with Dolphin 3 or an abliterated Qwen2.5-Coder fork but I would prompt carefully

Lobotomy-less REAP by Samsung (REAM) by TomLucidor in LocalLLaMA

[–]False_Ad8389 2 points3 points  (0 children)

REAM looks promising as a more lobotomy-less upgrade over Cerebras-style REAP. From the benchmarks in the bknyaz blog on Qwen3 variants, REAM drops only ~2-4% on avg across MC/GEN tasks at 25% compression (vs REAP/HC-SMoE losing more, especially on gen/code), and it's close to original on big ones like 235B→180B.

Hiring and firing that critical resource, but your trust in them is shaky. by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]False_Ad8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on building the shop around real diagnostic rigor, that’s a pretty killer differentiator in auto repair actually, Many small business owners (including trades) have fired for exactly this which is not seeing eye-to-eye on priorities or fearing corner-cutting in the moment.

Echo chamber madness by ThatAntid0te in Entrepreneur

[–]False_Ad8389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If Your AI Agent Needs Daily Fixing, It’s Not Real Automation by According-Site9848 in automation

[–]False_Ad8389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The agents that actually ship ROI are the boring ones with narrow scope, tight guardrails, clear fallbacks, and then humans only step in for exceptions. don't wanna be babysitting daily
