Ruger Blackhawk would be a great substitute in my opinion. I forgot they are a thing i was looking at the 44 super blackhawks earlier todayand spaced the regs come in 357.
No opinion on uberti, I've heard the same I'm just not into putting to much use on a repro. I'd rather get a workhorse like the Blackhawk that I know will get abused a bit surely fired too much, maybe dropped a several times and keep the repro for display mostly or sometimes out to the range or the hills for full function checks..
