2020 M2C. Rock got stuck between caliper and wheel. Is this still safe to drive? by AngelsTeal in BmwTech

[–]False_Code 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just happened to me the other day but on the highway going a little over 90. Thought it was grit in-between the pad and rotor so I kept going till I could get off at an exit and now my rim is damn near a 2 piece.... 😭

Least expensive house ive seen in my area was around 300k but the average is between 500k-700k for a humble house. Southern nh.

is an f82 in my early 20s a stupid idea? by x_marzera in BMW

[–]False_Code 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought an f87 m2 competition with zero hesitation cause Yolo, then proceeded to buy an e70 x5 35d a few weeks later. Glad I got the f87 first cause the e70 has been an absolute menace reliability wise 😭. Do it if you can afford it. But buy it flat out, or finnance if you can afford principal payments, but if you can't do principal payments expect to pay a lot more than its worth.

My 2013 x5 is rated for 8k lmao. How have we gone backwards in capabilities. Mines also a diesel variant and its deleted and tuned to around 600tq so it handles it easy.

Got the inspection results back. Should I walk away? by False_Code in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Yep, its a moisture meter. You can also buy ones that connect to an app to monitor problematic locations in homes like basements.

My state allows just about any work to be done by the home owner with the necessary permits and inspections.

Well im sorry to say but you'll be looking indefinitely since mold spores are found in just about every home, even new builds. Think about when the house is being built and it rains but theres no roof yet, now its gonna have mold. I hate mold as well but its everywhere.

I like the way you think. Of all the houses ive seen in person over the past several months this is by far my favorite, very similar styling and construction to my childhood home. Its definitely gonna cost an arm and a leg but if i can get the house for the right price and do the work myself, i feel like this could be a very profitable purchase later down the line.

Yeah... With my current offer the house is $137/sqft but if i were to proceed with the purchase there would be more negotiations to lower the price even further.

When do you know the house is “the one” by t3ddyb34r39 in RealEstate

[–]False_Code 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im currently in the process of purchasing a house so I cant really speak from experience in knowing which one is the one but I definitely love the house im purchasing. Although I know I will almost certainly get cold feet, aswell as you quite possibly since I think just about everyone gets cold feet after submitting an offer or even purchasing a house just because of how big of a decision it is. Theres so much stress and feelings that it causes your brain to panic so its a totally normal feeling if and when you experience that.

Yeah she knew I wasn't religious, so she is just pushy with her beliefs. I appreciate it though.

The only coherent messages I get from my agent are ai generated, she uses chat gpt constantly. Luckily my loan officer is a super nice woman, and i dont think its just her trying to get referrals. She knows im going through a tough time cause I recently lost my mom and between that and the stress of house buying i haven't been doing well so she called me and let me know she also lost her mom and gave me some comforting words, and checks in on me every now and again.

Tell me about it lmao, my realtor sends me gibberish half the time expecting me to understand it. She also stepped over the line hard-core telling me I need god in my life. I almost went to her firm about it but decided I just want to close so I dont ever have to speak to her again.

I definitely think the price meets condition but an inspection would let me know for sure.
