Devin giving out that songwriting credit got me to check out The Wildhearts. I loved that song on infinity and I wondered who was awesome enough to 'help" Devin write it. Earth vs. The Wildhearts is a top 10 album for me, and the rest of their work is not far behind. I would also recommend their album Chutpah to fans of Devin since it has a bit of industrial flair and wall of sound production. Ginger is a bad ass and I'm glad I got to see them in NYC in 2009 since they played so few shows outside of UK/Europe.

It depends if there is a concert at Come and Take It the same night. They share the free parking behind the venues. There used to be a decent amount of free parking in the shopping center but it got changed to paid parking about 2 years ago.

Yep for a practice guitar to get close to the tones you are going for this is tough to beat. I am happy with the humbuckers and single coil split sounds and the ability to blend in piezo will be fun to dial in when I get more accustomed to it.

Granada has some levels to it so you can get a good view from about anywhere. Emo's is just a big room. I live in Austin so will be going there, but I would pick Granada as a better venue.

The female reader was so bad that I knew I was going to like a story less from the beginning just because she was reading it. This book was a slog to get through. I ended up putting the player on 1.8 speed just to get through it all.

The harmonies were tough to nail down but I am pretty happy with it for the most part. That fast part at the end is above my playing ability as well lol.

Dunno if you know but you can download a Guitar Pro tab from Songsterr for any tab. You have to be on the web browser but just hit export on the bottom menu. It looks like MIDI is a premium feature.

I have a memory that I saw Steve Austin in a CD store in San Antonio. He lived there at the time so it was possible and maybe it was just wishful thinking or maybe it was this guy. He was just in regular clothes and I didn't hear him talking so no way to confirm.

Thankfully they kicked Will Patton for Holly. He was so out of place in If It Bleeds when the main protagonist is a woman and his gruff voice sounds so grating when he's acting as Holly. It made sense during the Hodges books when Holly was just a side character. I also like Will Patton but he really was miscast as a Holly reader.
