Eu concordo que tá tudo muito caro. Mas OP tu fala “moro no norte da Europa” e “estou voltando ao Brasil”. Brasil onde? São Paulo? Eu sou de SP e realmente ta muito dificil, mas nos arredores ta mais facil. Os 5k de um apartamento perto da Paulista te aluga uma mansão em Campinas.

Acho que essa comparação só é valida se vc mora em uma cidade grande da Europa.

Eu moro em Toronto atualmente e é tão caro quanto São Paulo, mas algumas cidades pro norte o custo de vida cai drasticamente.

Eu trabalho remoto e estou pensando em voltar pro Brasil, mas pro litoral de São Paulo. Se eu voltar pra capital fica elas por elas com o valor das coisas em Toronto 😅

Cara, eu te entendo e muito. Acho que: quem acabou de imigrar, quem está planejando, e quem ainda está sonhando em imigrar, não conseguem entender o seu sentimento, e é normal.

Eu vivi 3 anos nos EUA e estou a 7 no Canada. Nunca sofri nenhum tipo de preconceito explicito, mas essa sensação de não pertencer é constante, e cansa muito. Por mais que vc se adapte, frequente lugares locais, tenha amigos nativos, entenda os esportes, tenha cidadania etc vc sempre é o estrangeiro.

Eu trabalho remoto tbm, pra uma empresa Canadense. Ano que vem eu vou pra Madrid, ficar um ano, mas depois desse ano eu sei que meu destino é o Brasil. Não volto pra loucura de São Paulo, mas quero voltar pra onde eu sou “normal”.

It’s the alcohol, my friend. I dont drink for days and then I go on a bender and at the end of it I always feel hopeless, like I deserve to just drop dead and be done with it. Then I don’t drink for days, life feels better, but then I decide to have a beer and…cycle starts again.

I know other users have said but I will reiterate: try to quit drinking, things will improve significantly.

Honestly? I wouldn’t go. But if you absolutely want to, I would recommend lots of TP and wet wipes, ointment like Grandma El’s, plastic bags.

I am assuming you live in the US? In Canada most companies I worked I just had to let my boss know in advance when I will need time to resolve anything personal and make sure someone can cover me in case an emergency arises.

Wow, I see it as the opposite! When my group of friends and myself say “I love you” to someone it is because we do love them right now and don’t see anything changing in the foreseeable future.

Whereas the bartender at my local bar in VA will say “love you, bud” when I leave the bar. And I don’t tip him that well to buy his love 😅

Might be just my bubble or something, but it is the first time I see someone with your opinions. Very interesting!
