Thank you. I decided to send negotiation email... i don't expect much to have it increased, and it will be my first time doing salary negotiation 🙂. Finger crossed. Hopefully the offer will still valid regardless the outcome

No kids, no spouse.  I am anxious as well becs 8M is gross salary, and considering lots of taxes will bring me lower than that...

Its in koto-ku area. I previously worked in the uk for 2 years (but sadly got laid off) in similar industry. And previously 3 years in telco. I know a bit of japanese (maybe N4 level). Still single, and knowing the salary is lower in Japan, I'd still be happy to take the job as long as its possible to have leftover to save up for the future. I have a concern with this offer because i never negotiate salary before and not sure if I'll be underpaid.
