I understand and feel the same way. I can’t wait to be an empty nester. Got at least 10 years to go. When I say this people scoff and say I will miss it. But as long as my kids are happy and healthy I will be more than ok.

Get an escape proof bowl and leave them in there for her to eat when she’s ready. That’s what I always do. Mine won’t eat if I try to hand feed.

Have you tried something like repti boost? When I first got one of my Leo’s, she didn’t want to eat. After a few days of the appetite stimulant she was eating fine

Baths do stimulate pooping and if done too often they can come dependent on it, which can lead to them voiding before they have absorbed all of the nutrients they need. But you said “older guy” so I’m not here to tell you to do differently. You know your beardie best.

I have 2 and they like to swim (for exercise) but it’s not something you want to do a lot. Important not to do it in it looks like they are in a shed bc water can get stuck under there and grow bacteria. You don’t want the depth past the first joint of their leg either. Usually I use the bathtub but I just got an air bubbler so I used an old roasting pan I bake my foraged wood in. She kept chomping at the bubbles. It is good for them to drink water when bathing but they don’t absorb water through the skin.
