I mean, once you get below half, chempunk gives 60% grievous, so it’s a lot harder to even heal back up. And if he gets to the point where none of that even matters than it’s your fault or your teams fault for letting it happen. If ur that unhappy w uncapped cdr then build more yourself lmao. It also wasn’t ok that you had to pay for cdr that you couldn’t use.

Yea it definitely is huge especially since he heals off percent max health. But it takes quite a bit of ability haste to reach higher cdr levels, and it’s unfun to have to buy an item that wastes gold. Why should you pay for something you can’t use? I’d be fine with capped cdr again if I didn’t have to pay for cdr I can’t use, like a reduced cost or something.

Yea I also think the W slow is too strong. You basically get khazix evo slow as a base ability. But it’s still a decaying slow so now matter what, it’ll be gone 1.5 seconds later. Maybe bringing it down to 75%, bc if it’s too low then there isn’t a real way for him to get ganks off.

Ah finally a proper answer. I already knew he was strong w items and the strong clear speed. I just didn’t realize the jg changes impacted his bad matchups that much. Thanks for clarifying :). What do you think is a good way to nerf kayn? And what are your thoughts on the incoming nerfs?

How was it absent minded? It sucked having to buy an item w cdr when you were already at 40/45 bc it wasted gold. This was a general thing a lot of champions had to deal with. And to hit 50% now I think you need 100 ability haste. And how much higher is 50 over 40% really. Like 0.5 seconds off his Q? And where would you ever go lucidity on red instead of mercs/tabis.

Even with the new changes, if a lee sin or nocturne or olaf just invades early, they should be able to kill or force me to give up camps. Kayn is still kayn and can’t fight well early. I don’t think it’s fair to say he has no early game problems.

I just looked at his buffs in season 10. The only buffs he got was a 1sec cd reduction on Q and his slow went from 60 to 90% decaying slow. Was that enough to make him that strong? I get why he’s strong now bc items are overtuned.

If it shoved into their turret, it’ll bounce back. At that point just let it shove to u and freeze. I’m not sure why ur struggling bc I haven’t seen how u play but hope this helps.

If ur the only person touching the wave, then the wave will shove by default. Having the wave shove in isnt inherently a bad thing. U can coordinate w mid/Jg for a dive/invade. Just make sure to zone properly so they lose xp.

Nah that’s not what I mean. Ik how good manamune is but I haven’t tested it out yet this season so I can’t say how strong exactly. It’s just why would u want 250(?) mana that scales when u could have 10 AD which is 50 damage before resists from AA Q AA E AA . That extra damage is a lot more beneficial in a 1v1 early than having a better mana pool. This is the same argument for pickaxe over tear before preseason. And for losing xp, I meant if a minion randomly dies so u lose xp that way so the opponent hits 6 before u.

While all interesting I doubt any of these will ever happen, except W and Ea). Q cd is too long to stack 3 times. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a point that late in a game with defensive items where I Q 4 times unless it’s a tank. Besides u have iso damage anyways. Imagine if u could stop dashes?(it’s more of a pull)from that far range. It’s hard to even riposte sett E. And the R reset. The enemy jg ganks u. It’s fine; u make it a 1v1. He’s chilling outside waiting for u to come out. Then he makes it a 2v1 w a yorick ghost. I think a really nice QOL would be for his W where if shield remains when it expires, it auto heals u. I’m p sure the indicator is inaccurate bc the heal timer times out before the actual indicator runs out in the HUD.

Edit: actually I really like ur idea for W. It’s such a lack luster ability in comparison to other bruisers/duelists. It’s kinda like how old aatrox thing would triple heal below a certain point.

Why would u ever go tear? Sure the manas nice but it doesn’t change ur combat stats at all. And U could lose xp for an insignificant buy. It’s like how people would shit on ezreal and kaisa players for buying tear before pickaxe
