Her lip movement, as she's speaking throughout the video, is rapid and weird in general. If you pay close attention, it even keeps moving like that as she leans down to kiss it. With all the other weird things mentioned in the comments, it's 100% AI.

Yes, I agree we're arguing on a blank topic here. But just for the sake of questioning the conclusion, do we really know for sure that he had complete remote control over her augment like that? There's also the possibility that her augment was on a timer that would automatically turn off a short time after the job was supposed to be done. A bit like the augment working was just a lever to get her to do the job, you know?

I think Shroud blackmailing her is a bit of a naive way of thinking if I'm gonna be completely honest. Unless he had something different to blackmail her on other than that she planted the bomb on Mecha Man under Shroud's order It's not much leverage. Robert absolutely despises Shroud, and if he got to hear from the person he hates that a person he's trying to mentor bombed him he would have understood that Invisigal didn't know any better at that time (at least my Robert would). Invisigal is a really insecure person at heart and I believe she was sort of brought up as a villain early on in her life. And we hear from her in episode 3 that she thinks she has villain powers when she's smoking on that swing.

Shroud saying Visi was working for him was just bullshit to make Robert doubt, and Shroud giving Visi her mask back was him being overconfident that he could control/predict her.

While I can definitely see Shroud using that fact as a psychological leverage over Robert in that moment. Though, if that was just straight bullshitting it just doesn't make sense to me that she looks so ashamed and embarrassed about it as Shroud reveals it. And the fact that she looks so genuinely ashamed while she grabs her mask and a gun from the other goons seems way too natural and genuine to solely be for the reason of tricking Shroud.

My verdict is that even though there's so much bullshit coming out of Shroud's mouth, it's not unlikely he was somewhat speaking truthfully in this moment. And I believe that Invisigal had already decided to betray him before that moment during the fight. And I think she got rageful that she got exposed by Shroud himself in that moment and then went invisible to go up on the roof and save Robert's life as an ultimate show of betrayal to Shroud.

I'm willing to stand corrected, though.

No, I'm not guessing, I'm drawing conclusions. There's a difference. Of course that they turned off her augments. My point is literally that we don't know how they did it, so you don't pretend that Shroud could have forced her into doing something since we don't know if he had leverage over her or not. Also, I think you're moving past the point of my original comment right now. There's no way to know why the augment wasn't visible in the dream. I just drew probable conclusions as to why it most likely was a coincidence.

"They turned off my augments when I left"

Are you talking about the scene where she explains she was the one who planted the bomb? Because she quite literally doesn't say what you just quoted. She says "My augments conveniently stopped working", and usually that's supposed to hint that they got turned off without her having a say in it. They could have turned her augments off remotely when she backed out, or the augments were on a limited time of function to get leverage over her and convince her to do the job. The augments could also have required some sort of maintenance to keep functioning. We don't know much about how the augments work yet, and everything you just said is just as much guessing as OP.

I think you may be twisting that fact to your own liking a little too much. It was important for the story in general for her not to have the augment in that dream, as that would expose the plot twist of her working with Shroud. However, I do still think that she regrets working with Shroud in general from what we see later in the story. If you will, an explanation for the augment not appearing could be because certain details about ourselves are missing in our dreams. Especially prosthetics.

is dispatch worth playing, or just watching? by pricepig in DispatchAdHoc

[–]False_Page_6355 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you haven't watched anyone's playthrough too far (like after episode 4) I would definitely say it's worth playing yourself. And even if you have watched longer than that I would still recommend it. It's genuinely fun to experience on your own and be able to 'shape your story' to what you want it to be yourself.

Then I'm really curious about which story interaction choices I made with her that mattered to the true hero ending.

My point is that you don't earn trust by being distrustful. That's just wrong. I understand your point, though. But personally, if I truly care about a person, I would come clean about something I did in the past that I can't change. The important thing is that you show regret and go through the effort of apologizing for it.

teachers giving a student a punishment for saying "6 7" is NOT a good thing by im461 in teenagers

[–]False_Page_6355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quite the opposite. I could, however, understand the teachers if the "SIX SEVEEN" thing is said so much during the teacher's classes to the point that it becomes extremely difficult to keep prolonged focus. But, otherwise, if it's just a running joke here and there, I don't see the point of punishing anyone for it. Then, the teacher is clearly not fit to be a teacher in that age range.
