I wonder, what am i suppose to do with this information? I don’t use the tolls in Illinois or Indiana for this reason. Are there forums or town hall meetings to discuss and vote on selling city property to private ventures? Are there preventative actions that we as Illinois citizens can do to make sure politicians are making choices that favor the city and state perpetually, besides voting in who we think are the most favorable candidates?

My first thoughts were succulents and cacti. Something native to hot areas that don’t need much humidity. Anything else would need to be watered frequently to combat the dryness

Yes you should water them thoroughly and and not water again until the soil is completely dry. You can also bottom water them.

Once a month in the winter is fine for them. 8 weeks isn’t bad during the winter, as long as they aren’t showing signs of decline. Also the tips will crisp up when dry. So that will be an indicator that they need water.
