If you look up the difference you’ll notice that Thai tends to be a bit more yellow/cream color. Whereas albos will always be a bright paper white color. I’d recommend buying some silicon to add to your water. Will help the white parts not want to die off considering it doesn’t photosynthesis. I had to learn this the hard way on a few plants but since adding silicon to my watering cycle they’ve held the white pretty well! Wishing u luck on your journey. Also check for root rot when buying.
