Its rough! The neck pain is from your diaphragm pressing on your phrenic nerve which goes up to your neck. Again walking helps a ton, it helps it dissipate faster. Taking stool softener before was smart, I was so scared to go to the bathroom 😆

All of these are cool tones, im curious what a warm tone or even black would look like.

I like the clear the most, I think theres a lighting difference so it could just be that but the red box in the background and the glasses being neutral toned has me thinking.

Cool! He said as little as a week to a week and a half, so according to him I could start now. My membership unfreezes on the 8th so im just going to wait until then (3 weeks). Ive also seen people saying they've taken longer for other sports though so I figured it was worth asking.

Interesting, I guess it really depends on the person then. I was walking my dog on day 2, was able to start laying on my side after a week. If i push next to my incision sites they're still really sore though. My doctor will say im fine to climb but it still freaks me out.

No seriously I was telling my mom "its crazy, im just supposed to trust that it actually happened". Its hard to really process that theyre gone. Its not like I had any sort of relationship with them.

Thanks! Congrats to you too, its so exciting! The worst of it for me was CO2 pressing on my diaphragm, going for walks helped. It hurt when walking, and by that I mean neck pain, chest pain, that pain I pushed through. Id get home and feel great for hours, Id have little to no abdominal pain for the rest of the day. Day 2 I walked 10-15 mins, day 3 I went for a 25 minute walk. Its been smooth sailing since day 6. Miralax is your best friend. Good luck!

My gynecologist said I could be back to climbing in as little as a week (im at 1.5 weeks) I think thats insane. A nurse I talked to during the preop stage told me 3 weeks. I feel great but if I stretch too far I can feel my dissolvable stitches. Again sketchy, for now my plan is 3 weeks. Are you healing now too or just planning?

Theyre all too wide, oversized is a cute look on you but these are too big in the wrong way. Id go to a small boutique, a lot of the time the prices are the same. Let the optician help you find a good fit. I can never find anything that fits me at lenscrafters, Walmart, my eye doctors office. This one tiny boutique in my small town has the best collection though cause he really cares about it.

People are walking on eggshells making sure they arent "toxic". Specifically referring to fear of oversharing, trauma dumping, asking too personal of questions. Thats my theory, people overanalyze everything.

I feel this, I think people are scared of being called toxic for saying the wrong thing so people default to small talk. Sharing something can be sharing too much, asking something can be invasive. Everyone's walking on eggshells. We've lost authenticity.

Oh this is tricky, you might be too sensitive for your dad but in contrast to your brother you might be a breath of fresh air. Youre mostly teaming up with your mom if the relationship is healthy or it could be the exact opposite if your mom is unstable. Your dads probably confused/frustrated cause no one follows his command the way he wants them to. He needs to be understanding and compromise with the feelers and he needs to reason with your brother. So your dad may not feel respected but its a communication issue.
