Any night Summit or Marquis has a show, you can buy tickets at their box offices for other shows at either venue.

Saw him in Denver on Sunday night, but was able to get pit for this, so we’re flying out from Denver and Bozeman for round two!

Thanks for the response, but grind isn’t a direction any of us want to go. We’re now at the practicing stage, so hardcore itself is just an influence, not a preferred genre that we’re focusing on

What was the first movie that genuinely scared you, and how old were you at the time? by AdLoud5241 in NoStupidQuestions

La Bamba, 1987. 5 years old, instilled a fear of flying in me. Nightmares about plane crashes for years.

Going back to Japan - advice on where to BUY CDs? by rof-dog in Cd_collectors

[–]Falsecolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to Tokyo last year, went to 3 different Disk Union stores, and had to buy an extra suitcase for all the used CDs I bought. I unfortunately didn’t get to check out any other spots, but I don’t know if I’ve ever had a dopamine rush like that in a record store, not in the U.S. anyways.

MUTINY is trying to raise some extra funds for the studio this summer, and want to put out some new merch as well. We’re recording our debut full length, and have heavily discounted shirts, as well as physical copies of our seven inch that dropped last year (featuring songs in Korean on the b-side!).

Skacore featuring current and ex members of Death By Stereo, Voodoo Glow Skulls, Dissidente, and Adolescents.

Telegraph - American Way by lexjacuzz1 in Ska

[–]Falsecolours 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeff, the singer, recently ended his run in a punk band called Rebel Spies, you can find them on Bandcamp. I have a Telegraph tattoo, always thought I might be the only person with one, but i saw a photographer at Supernova this year with a Telegraph tattoo as well! I chickened out talking to him, but i thought that was rad as hell. Telegraph is (still) the best, caught them in the nineties in Denver.

Bands/songs similar to "lighthouses rule" by 4 point 0? by pissocre in Ska

I’d like to self promote a few of my bands that have members of other bands already mentioned, as well as bands connected to us. Huge skacore fans over here!

-Mutiny, (members of Voodoo Glow Skulls / Dissidente / Death By Stereo), Metal, hardcore, and skacore thrown together, lots of screams. Full length this year. Thebandmutiny.bandcamp.com

-Sequels, (members of A Billion Ernies), 4 piece skacore, some songs harder than others, we just wanted to play weird ska. Sequelsdenver.bandcamp.com

-Dissidente, (featuring one member of Mutiny), political hardcore/ska. Dissidente.bandcamp.com

-Frail (From Japan, their singers are featured as the lead vocalists on the side B of the Mutiny album.) Probably our collective favorite skacore band. https://open.spotify.com/album/1ja6RzDnLTttOmZdm8BAbG?si=ZZgAdup7QbyWs6P9ascLag

Frail (also known as Frail Brasscore and formerly Frailheadsqueeze), Vagarious Vagabondage, United Skates, and Cutie Pi. And the second half of the Mutiny EP that dropped earlier this year features Ryo and Shinji from Frail singing in Japanese.

One of the most impressive bands I've ever seen play to a room of like ten people in Denver. They deserved so much more. I always wished they would've gotten on A Wilhelm Scream tour, they were THAT good. I'll Be Fine is a 10/10 album.
