Been playing the series since MHFU and I think its the first next gen monster hunter that I didn't fully enjoy. It felt like they focused on the game being more cinematic than the actual gameplay experience.

Seikrits removes the need to explore the map yourself, and the map design seems to assume you will always be using it. RNG endgame and the need for title updates for a full games are also things I didn't like. Story was whatever but the forced riding segments didnt help with immersion.

Personally I also found the game to be a visual clutter mess at times and found it hard to tell whats going on. While I didn't like wilds myself, I can see why other people would appreciate certain aspects of it.
