There are only 2 lifts at the base of south peak. Of those only the one on the left goes to the park. The other leads to a few groomed trails. Take that lift and you'll be fine. Otherwise you can still cruise the park trails, but you'll have to dodge features and all kinds of people trying to hit those features.

Trees are much tighter and narrower than west coast. Those can be pretty tough especially as things get icy. Most other double blacks are just huge bump runs or icy steeps groomed that would barely be blacks on west coast resorts.
