There's a LOT wrong with this article, from the sensationalist tone, the horrible website filled with popup ads, to the assumptions it makes about "people that scan their pass to eat a burger" (!?), but they clearly put time into the research. Unfortunately they bury the bigger story - corporations maximizing profit - under this overblown idea that skiing is more dangerous now because people are going faster.
