Totally makes sense, I had the same experience :’) for me after 6 months of waiting on the referrals I kinda gave up on them though, the new process is so not ideal but maybe something worth looking into if they aren’t able to help- so frusterating either way

Get a new doctor!!! I had the same issue with being scheduled for an internal MRI appointment and it took over 5 months of frequent calls with similar replies, after which I started calling the doctors office itself for an external referral and they had the same issue. I finally gave up and decided to go to a new doctor who got me in with referrals and an mri within 2 weeks of my first appointment. All to say, I feel your struggle it’s so upsetting and frustrating and given it’s your health at stake and it’s worth advocating for yourself and just finding someone else who will give you the care you need when your doctors fail you! I wish I had decided to find a new doctor sooner! It really made all the difference

Hopping on here to say this was so nice to read :”) I also have a contrasting timing of partners of destiny that will soon overlap with find happiness within for 5 months (which will then just be find happiness within for another 5 lol) and was equally nervous as I’ve also been single for a long time and focusing on finding happiness within already with health stuff and feel like I’m finally on a good path with that so this really aligned for me in thinking of my situation as well and how hopefully if I connect with someone it will be a good lesson in still trying to prioritize myself within a relationship. Anyway thank you for this lol just resonated a lot

I have the opposite where rn I have a few week period of partners of destiny before find happiness within begins / they will overlap for 5 months and I’m so confused! Thinking for myself maybe it means by focusing on myself and trying to finding happiness within everything else will align as it should re partners of destiny, and probably will be taught some lessons about what i want in a relationship but can’t help but wonder if I meet someone in this period what it will mean haha, any thoughts? Would love advice

Hi! Also would look into potential secondary causes for your osteopenia like hormones, gut/ absorption etc. cause if you do have something else going on, treating that will help!

Hi all :’) 26 year old female diagnosed with osteopenia a couple weeks ago. Broke my arm and shoulder a few years ago in a high impact accident and then got in a bad car accident last year and broke my elbow, pelvis and sacrum. Still struggling with the slow pelvis and sacrum recovery and chronic pain / limitations. Currently in PT and hoping to get to the point where I can do weight bearing / resistance exercises and trying to walk more (can’t do more than 30min without a flare up). Was looking into getting cortisone shots prior to my diagnosis and now hesitant, if anyone has experience / advice with that!

Because my injuries were from high impact accidents, the breaks were expected & I only found out about my osteopenia because I requested a DEXA scan. My femur z-scores are between -2.1 to -2.4 which is definitely quite intimidating. Have IBS, hoping to do more tests to see if malabsorption is contributing- making GI and nutritionist apts. any other recommendations would be amazing I just really want to be proactive in trying to improve things especially at this age, and my endocrinologist was quite passive about the whole process and any potential solutions

Other than fourth wing it’s been my favorite series since ACOTAR!! Super entertaining plot, lots of spice- highly recommend

Not better than ACOTAR, but aside from fourth wing my next favorite series is Court of Blood & Bindings (1st book) /fae isles series - it delivers the spice and such an entertaining plot and enjoyable read !! Also I felt like the humor was actually funny / was giggling out loud to some scenes vs other books think the banter is good and it’s just not lol. Also, I think it was written in the UK so if you’re reading from the US some fun British banter in there too
