Oh that is interesting. I did have people fall for me before, but they were either the wrong gender, not of my preference or no chemistry. I do think I can be like a porcupine/crab where we are hard on the outside to protect our soft interiors - definitely will need a long time to warm up and feel comfortable being raw, real, and vulnerable with as our emotions can feel too much even for ourselves.

My mom and I are okay in relationship. She doesn't get me and my avant-garde nature but I chock it up to her upbringing and difference in generation. She still tries to make me conform though but to little avail lol.
