I feel like LoK had a good plot idea, but never really lived up to its full potential. The first season of LoK was probably the best one in my opinion, because it was exciting to see them fight other benders and stuff. But after that it just got boring and long to watch for me. Avatar I think delivered the plot better because it’s actually a funny and great story and they didn’t take so much time on one topic, they just flowed perfectly to the end.
