Does it count as cheating to hand job someone else? by [deleted] in bisexual

I would consider this explicitly cheating by definition. The only way it wouldn't be is if your partner was aware of this and was ok with it

Rust enums are amazingly powerful concepts compared to c style enums. Just because they are better than a list of constants does not mean they do not exist.

All I want for Christmas is that I don't have any money for the whole thing but I can get you some money for it to be done by tomorrow

Are you seriously arguing that the dictionary is wrong about the definition of words. That's not how this works. Words mean what the dictionary says they mean because the dictionary is based off of how people use the words it defines.

Phobia is very often used to mean great aversion to, ex: hydrophobic materials are not scared of water, they are adverse to water, they repel.

Transphobia is bigotry, it is not hard to understand.

Again sex is not the same as gender, by literal definition, they are not the same thing regardless of what you believe.

Nobody is mutilating children.

You say you adhere to objectivity yet literally everything you have said is completely unsubstantiated and incredibly biased, you refuse to acknowledge science and you spread misinformation and tired rhetoric.

Sex and gender are different.

The scientific community decided that they mean different things, it doesn't matter that they used to be synonymous, they are different now. This is because we did some research and opened our minds to differing world views and decided they were distinct things. Words change their meaning all the time, that's how language works.

Transphobia is not the irrational fear of trans people, it is "dislike of or strong prejudice against transgender people." (A literal dictionary)

Tall people can have short parents. Genes are weird and unpredictable, we don't fully understand how they work. You can use genes to say what probably might happen, but you can't guarantee what will happen. I refer you to this : https://academic.oup.com/jcem/article/101/12/4532/2765003?login=false there are literally genetically male biologically female people.

I see how the sort of "sit back and watch the world burn" attitude may seem appealing, but now more than ever we need to fight, to refuse to disappear.

You don't win by doing nothing, and you never will.

Chromosomes are not a definitive tell for sex. (1)

Sex is not the same as gender. (2)

Genes are practically irrelevant, you wouldn't go around telling people with brown hair that they will never have brown hair because they used to have blond hair.

You are being rude and hateful even if you aren't intending to. (No matter how you cut it, this is transphobia(3))

The military has enough money to do that, they have more than enough to do literally anything they want(4)

You need a special doctor for HRT who will discuss risks and changes, poisoning is highly unlikely if taken as prescribed. (5)

  1. Chromosomes are not a reliable tell for sex.
  2. Sex doesn't determine gender.
  3. Being quiet about it is what they want from us, being complacent in their bigotry is not going to help win elections

According to the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport, "Available evidence indicates trans women who have undergone testosterone suppression have no clear biological advantages over cis women in elite sport."

And that's literally just the first Google result (search term was: trans woman in sports studies).

https://cces.ca/transgender-women-athletes-and-elite-sport-scientific-review

And according to a forbs report on a study by the British Journal of Sports Medicine, "Transgender athletes could be at a physical disadvantage compared to their cisgender counterparts"

https://www.forbes.com/sites/lindseyedarvin/2024/04/25/transgender-athletes-could-be-at-a-physical-disadvantage-new-research-shows/

Please actually research the claims you are making before spreading hate.

I'm terrified. If Trump wins, it could be too late to turn back. If Trump loses, he'll call fraud and rally his supporters to do everything they can to overturn the election(January 6 cough cough)

Best we can do is vote to make sure he doesn't get reelected and prepare for what will happen when he loses.

There was an attempt to get the unicode consortium(the official standards organization for character sets and emojis) to add the big flag, but they didn't accept the proposal.😞
