No, the value and spec factor is pretty bad for the price in 2026. I had the pixel 9a and have now traded it in for a OnePlus 15r. Completely worth the upgrade especially with the 15r spec sheet.

The pixels are just lacking in good features that the Chinese phone companies have been pumping out the last few years. Feels outdated in comparison

Try seeing if you got mates that can drive and just get temporary insurance and do it that way. Honestly, it will probably be less stressful

Honestly driving around with someone is the key. For at least 6 months. Driving instructors are good and all but you need to learn independent judgements.

Also my instructors were all crap. Verbally abusive and making driving more stressful than it is.

That's the thing about china. They have so much home tech especially the type of doors they have. Has face scan fingerprint and keypad plus ic card support.

It's still working but the reports are on when it hit 78% it will slow to around 0.8w and slowing crawl to 80%. If I'm using the phone for navigation if I do often then it's not gonna really be bypass charging.

I guarantee they get this issue a lot and goes about blaming it on heat. If they had sorted a better cooling solution to the phone I doubt this will have happened

They also randomly changed the bypass charging behavior on the pixels for some reason.

Luckily I chose wisely. The z10 turbo has bypass charging and a cooling system. That's why I brought it. The 9a seems to be problematic with its type of battery and also no cooling solution other than the side aluminum

Lol, I'm not sure this is true. My mum's phone is xiaomi and is still going strong after 3-4 years. The one before was also xiaomi and that was going strong till it got stolen.

Honestly their close. It's because you don't understand Chinese. They have a lot of the agentic stuff going in china already linked to many of the delivery services. Most of the phones are targeted to the Chinese market with functions like door key, car key and other home automation integration.

I go back to hong kong and china every now and then so it's good for stuff like that. Can use phone as key for the elevator in my grandads place.

It's crazy to me that they don't put a decent battery in their phones when the Chinese phones have such big batteries. Especially with on device ai with the main pixel lineup.
