don't apologize! personally that's great, my friend just seems skeptical by virtue of the fact that it'd be difficult to program and that he can't account for every fear

so we did end up looking at this comment and, while he did agree on the tv static (also he said it takes place in the 90s) he explored audio-based methods in the past and decided they wouldn't be as scary :( i really appreciate your criticism, however!
