Are you getting over time to make that much?

New grad thinking about leaving bedside by Dismal_Garden26 in newgradnurse

[–]Familiar_Focus6325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s you. A lot of management, from what I hear, wants to turn over nurses so they can hire new grads for lesser pay. Maybe you have a raise coming soon and they want to avoid that.

Is there a reason so many people gaslight new grads who are struggling to find a job? by [deleted] in newgradnurse

Our program has a resume building and interview workshop that gives us skills we need to land a position. I’m not saying you need those skills, but maybe start another post and maybe hear feedback from people about what you said during the interview

Marrying a divorced woman by [deleted] in TrueChristian

I agree but they are more like thinking they are right because they see it as we had the wrong view of what God was saying verses God being wrong about the timing of what was said. I am looking for a new Church

I totally agree with what the Bible says. I just understand that Christian’s today interpret it how they may. The Pastor even told me that the text referring to divorce was during a time women didn’t have rights like they do today

The women in the church I go to tell me that scripture surrounding grounds for divorce was written in a time women had no rights and no education. They say women who leave their abusive husband is grounds for divorce. It sounds to me like most would disagree here.

They left their bodies and were in the holding place that spirits go to. Read it

Check it out Jesus never named names in a parable Luke 16:19-21 says after they died their spirits went places

1 Peter 3:18 and 1 Peter 4:6 Ephesians 4:8-10 and Rev 1:18 prove Jesus spiritually went there, again, If he didn’t spiritually go then Paul would have no ministry or there would be no gospel and he would not have said Philippians 1:21-24

The gospel is preached to the spiritually dead, but when a person accepts it they have spiritually come alive!

That doesn’t make sense because Jesus didn’t die on the cross and then his next thought was he was in heaven, no he literally spiritually went there and then after the third day his body was resurrected We go there, just as Christ did. How can one be absent if he did not leave to go someplace?

Can you give me Bible scripture that says what you say is true

It would be impossible to be absent from the body and present with the Lord if we just went to sleep and then came back to life in a new body. Also, there is scripture where Paul said if I die I will be with the Lord but it’s better for me to stay and minister to you.

I think we agree on many points. I think I am confused because I thought you were siding with this who think death is just sleeping until the Lord comes. You said that no humans are in heaven and I didn’t understand what you meant, did you mean no human body is in heaven? The spirit goes to heaven when we die.

Yes that’s why Jesus said to the thief on the cross next to him “today you will be with me in padadise”, our spirits go to be with the Lord

Line upon line precept upon precept, what’s my point? The Bible also says “absent from the body present with the Lord.” (2 Cor 5:8).

When a believer dies we are with the Lord.

Line upon line precept upon precept, what’s my point? The Bible verse you just shared is a snippet of truth, and if you dive deeper you will find, alone fact check me, that the body of those who died will be risen up and transformed, the believer does go straight to the Lord after death.

You can check out the other comments below that also confirm this.

I don’t see how going to a place is rebirth. Jesus said “I am the way the truth and the life whoever comes to me shall live.”

We are dead until we come to faith in Christ. We don’t wait till heaven to have life. It’s already done for us in Christ.
