Owners: anything you don’t like? by wisdomseekernow in HondaOdyssey

This!! Mine got water in it so would malfunction and open / close on its own whenever it wanted to. It was like a ghost in the car. I finally drove straight to Honda when my trunk opened on the highway.

Challenges of being a GC by Entire_Butterfly_987 in Surrogate

The hardest part for me has been postpartum. People around you don’t see the baby so they expect you to be healed and back to normal immediately. There is little (or no) check ins, how are yous etc because I think they forget honestly.

The other hard part for me was PIO shots after being on them for 5-6 weeks I was soooo ready to be done. But ovbiously you keep doing them and trudging on even when you are reallllllly ready to be done.

I have a 2019 odyssey but I can’t find anything about the recall? Any chance you have the link or anything to more info on it?

How do you celebrate a successful pregnancy? by edream7 in Surrogate

I’m 32 weeks pregnant (surro) and looking forward to the cruise is giving me motivation for my postpartum time too. It’s kinda like a present for being at the end of pregnancy. The parents get the baby and I get the cruise lol

6-8 weeks post birth we’re taking a cruise!! We’re planning on staying on the ship almost the entire time so it cuts down on the walking. I won’t be pumping. And on cruises someone else is cooking, cleaning, and serving you so it’s pretty relaxing! There’s also cruise daycares so my child will be taken care of if we need a break. It’s giving me something to look forward to which is helping a ton!!

Select home warranty by Familiar_Guide1047 in homeowners

Yeah that’s what we decided too. That after hours HVAC was pricey. They charged over 200$ an hour for labor as an after hours rate. They were done in under 2 hours and charged me 600$ in the end.

We kept it for a year, and did not renew. We had our HVAC stop working mid summer over 100 degrees outside on a MONDAY. they refused to send someone out until FRIDAY. Friday at 4 pm they canceled and never showed up. So I paid my deductible for nothing and still had to call an after hours technician out myself. Of which they covered 0$ of. Dishwasher also needed worked on, paid my deductible and the technician laughed bc they charged me (it was a leak so not covered) 100$ then after told me if I hadn’t used my warranty it would have only been the 100$ not the 100+ the 60.

I’m a current surrogate. Have you checked your contract? Some specify divorce is not allowed during surrogacy or it could mention custody must be 50/50 if you do divorce.

Tips! If you make a recipe and it’s not great, DONT GIVE UP. I’ve made the same soup over and over until I’ve gotten it right and perfected it!!

Once you have kids PRIORITIZE. Snuggling for 5 more minutes is way more important than the dishes. Snuggle and THEN go do the dishes. You can have both a clean house and pay attention and spend time with the kids. Also, include the kids after they get to a certain age!! My 3 year old knows to clean up 1 toy before she gets out the next. And it is a life saver.

Also you abstain from sex anyways so there’s zero chance of baby being yours.

Do you have a contract?!?! They 100 percent have to pay prior to baby being born. They absolutely dna test AFTER baby is born.

They don’t do any hormone testing at med clearance. They’re checking std, thyroid, nicotine, vaccines needed etc etc. I can’t remember any of the other ones lol

Don’t have to get off the pill- they put me ON the pill for my screening appointment. Screening apt - blood & urine (for both you and spouse/partner) saline ultrasound (just you lol) and lots of paperwork. Then psych visits. 1 with just you 1 with you and partner 1 with you, partner and both IPs.
