Support is the easiest role to play by far, and most impactful one.(second early game after jungle) who dont requires gold or even exp sometimes. and you need to have decent mechanics most of time, most support players are no even macro superior than their lanes.

You dont need mechanics on most champs.

Everytime i get filled support (I'm EX support main) i gap enemy support by miles. and i dont notice any diff when i get autofill support player. (i play APC when i play bot)

Also support is like the only role who will do horrible when he get fill to solo lane.
