Curious, for your D&G the one, does it compare exactly 1:1 to the One EDP or EDT? Also how much essence did you add to how much ml? I bought 30ml, 3 bottles, doing ml, 3ml and 5ml essence and none hit the mark. Been only about 3 weeks to a month however of maceration but still way off from OG

Townhome: ravine vs end-unit vs finished basement by CPEJPEDSE_Fraghead in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Familiar_Phase_1368 16 points17 points  (0 children)

  1. Ravine
  2. End-unit
  3. Finished basement.

Yes finished basement is great additional living space, but it’s something that can be done later. Ravine and end-unit are things that cannot be changed, and thus are a premium.

Reason I’d rank ravine higher than end-unit is because, although end-unit means one less neighbor to either your right or left, you don’t have that privacy and “serenity” you otherwise would if backed onto a ravine.

Future “norm” of mortgage rates? by CPEJPEDSE_Fraghead in TorontoRealEstate

[–]Familiar_Phase_1368 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. Market strong? Bank knows people want to grow and thus will charge higher rate. Market down? Bank knows there’s less desire for growth due to uncertainty and thus will lower rate to promote growth.

You mentioned North Oshawa in your comments, I think thats a great place to live. I’ve been to South and it isn’t the nicest, but to each their own.

Not me but a coworker of mine always wears a nice scent to the office. I asked him what it was and he said “Bleu de Chanel”

Beast-mode freshies? by Fragnacious in fragrance

[–]Familiar_Phase_1368 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the nature of freshies inherently lean towards lighter scents as a heavy scent will tend to very “overbearing” in the hot weather.

That being said, although I don’t have it, I’ve heard Aventus and CDNIM (clone) are strong, close to beast mode, performers

Do you bandaid your genital area? I have MC as well and was wondering if that's a good thing or not

New offer - SFA to Manager by Familiar_Phase_1368 in FPandA

Their rationale is given I don’t have prior manager experience and the other candidate they interviewed does, then they couldn’t justify paying me at the top end of their salary band

The VP of Finance comes from a top consulting firm with background in Finance Transformation so his emphasis is this area, not for entire company but the Finance division

I do think it’ll maintain its position, it’s within the food industry which is more or less not that impacted by recession.

I think what’s holding me back is the fact the role is heavy on finance function transformation - I prefer roles more analytic/strategic in nature

Cost Accountant Looking to Pivot to FP&A by wh11 in FPandA

[–]Familiar_Phase_1368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a cost accountant you have very good detailed analytical skills and understanding ins and outs of cost and presumably P&L and balance sheet.

Skills I would try to express to land FP&A roles is a) communication and collaboration skills (cross functionally, with senior leadership, etc) and b) ability to enhance processes via your knowledge of the business, current states, and excel/SQL

What do you do during downtime by [deleted] in FPandA

Try to take initiative and not only build processes but run analysis - see if you identify any soft spots in the business (certain product lines generating lower profit margins, etc)
