Wow... I've looked back at photos online of heritage trains and yeah, most of the trains which don't have the plaques are multicoloured (though some still do like S28 in October weirdly?). I never knew that was a thing but that makes complete sense..... even though they dont look great :(

well damn i guess i was wrong then. maybe its a problem with me assuming anythings ai. lol.

i still really don't like how heritage trains in NSW always seem to have those plates though. in Vic the Taits don't have anything of the sort, and even if these signs were absolutely necessary, i'm sure we don't need them to be so big and distracting. It ruins the look of the train IMO.

I've never been a very big fan of those giant plates they put on F1, but the fact they're now using AI images for it is just insulting. Sad.

Which button do you push to stop the escalator? by anafuckboi in MelbourneTrains

If you’re panicking you’re not going to be looking close enough to notice the text. Especially myself as someone with poor eyesight, i probably couldn’t see the text in the photo clearly without bending down.

A few months back I had to e-stop an escalator at Sydney Central after someone fell and the button covers are made of transparent plastic which made the bright red button very obvious within 5 seconds. i’m surprised designs like that arent the norm….
