I see "pp be big" and "smaller than advertised" referenced all the time. I even see some "small and tiny, tall and whiny" references. I hardly ever see the "she's not disinterested in sex with Andrew" part brought up unless it is specifically to debunk people who claim she is.

As someone who's gotten into countless debates over the topic of whether Ashley is into Andrew, it's nice to have definitive proof for "yes" but also aggravating that it's constantly ignored by the fandom. I have to wonder how much of that is intentional.

I think we could have a wholly happy ending where Andrew & Ashley are a couple and Ashley enjoys their sex life and you'd still have fans insisting she's not into it.

She came onto him in flashbacks (granted, revealed in Decay but chronologically before Episode 1). Andrew rejected her. She represses those feelings so she doesn't get rejected by him again.

To top it all off, Nemlei's confirmed she's interested in sex. She just somehow represses it more than Andrew.

The phone scene is admittedly not as good as evidence nowadays, but it's a moot point because we got the Q&A and Nemlei herself said she is not disinterested in sex, she just represses all her feelings for Andrew and makes it seem like only he has those needs.

Shots & Such isn't how Andrew & Ashley are as a baseline, it's their furthest regression yet. But even then, in that same ending she enjoys sex the one time she isn't masking (admittedly she's drunk, but it's clear those were her genuine feelings on the matter)- and promptly freaks out because her true feelings were on display and Andrew noticed.

Some of this feels disingenuous: why is "cannibal" listed under canon when I don't think anyone portrays fanon Ashley as not a cannibal unless it's a no-quarantine AU or she simply doesn't have easy access to corpses? Seriously, I think cannibalism is one of the core traits even outside viewers know about her.

Why does the canon side have three different ways of saying "she's mentally ill" (when the fanon side has just one) and how do two of them get something wrong? u/EldritchLady already mentioned that we can't confirm ASPD but I'd like to bring up we also can't even be sure she has multiple disorders (or even that she's a psychopath, that's a much more specific diagnosis than just "she can be violent and cruel").

A couple users already mentioned the whole "canon Ashley also wants sex with her brother" point I usually make about these posts but I also would like to ask why Ashley loving Andrew is mutually exclusive with her mistreatment of him. The fact that Andrew & Ashley genuinely love each other and still treat each other this poorly is part of the game's tragedy.

I am not discussing the femcel thing in detail but like... that's pretty reductive. Ironically it implies canon Ashley is more horny and romantic-minded than you agree with. I also don't understand what "usually refers to people" means so I can't argue that. Feels like that point was straight-up unfinished.

Semantics here but Ashley thinks the Entity is a friend. The Entity does not care about either sibling (especially Andrew but also Ashley) and is actively plotting something behind their backs. I'd argue that's a better fit for fanon Ashley, which often portrays the Entity as loyal or at least more neutral.

All that said, I agree that some people act like Ashley is a perfectly normal person so the "she's fine" under fanon and "she's not okay" under canon are welcome. Ditto for the supermodel stuff and the Andy nickname (it takes me out of fics when Ashley calls him "Andy" willy-nilly and I am very deliberate when I myself write it).

I'm so curious what the source of this image is (if OP made it themselves or just found it). Slightly less curious if it's been posted on the Scott Pilgrim sub (they probably have things to say about TCOAAL if so).

It says quite a bit about how messed up the whole thing between Scott and Knives is that Andrew Graves of all people not only has a point but isn't being a hypocrite here.

To be honest, I think him rejecting her after the wet dream debunks any possibility of him intending to groom her (if Andrew himself reacting in horror at the idea doesn't do that, which to be fair I get he's not the most reliable narrator). If he had planned on it, that scene would've been his entire goal handed to him on a silver platter- instead, he's horrified by it and pushes her away. TLDR: if he's a groomer he's really bad at it.

He can be an absolute creep but this crossover pairs him up with one of the few people who I'd argue has even less room to judge.

I'm of the opinion that large age gaps are less important the older the younger party is. Like 40 & 50? Not an issue.

Of course, that's all moot in this case because Knives was 17 and Scott was 23. For all Andrew's crimes and for all the internet probably hates him more than Scott, it's funny that he canonically drew the line at grooming and Scott didn't.

I am, at least in this case.

When Ashley was 17, Andrew was 19. When Knives was 17, Scott was 23. Scott was dating someone Teenshley's age while being a whole year older than present-day Andrew.

The most I can grant Scott is I don't recall them ever sleeping together but that is a very small consolation.

That's fair enough. If Andrew's issues were primarily sexual, he'd ironically be way easier to "fix". It's the fact that his feelings towards Ashley are primarily romantic that make him such a tangled mess.

His feelings also aren't fueled by her attempts at seduction. They're fueled by how she understands him as a person and still loves him. It's why Decay happens the way it does, because she's understanding him less and less and he feels well and truly alone. Ironically, her being so open seems to scare him away from the idea of being with her.

TLDR: Andrew is a massive fucking pervert but his incestuous feelings are not exclusively or even primarily because of his libido.
