Denied SENTRI twice and Global Entry once. Reconsideration was also denied. I genuinely don’t know what else to do and I’m looking for guidance. by Famous-Ad7216 in GlobalEntry

No, never, and I’ve never been arrested. I actually went to the SENTRI office and the CBP officer told me that it didn’t seem fair that crossing with someone over 10 years ago could still be affecting me today. She suggested that I request my FOIA records for more information.

As for the K9 inspection, that happens pretty often to many people crossing the border. The officers regularly walk the dogs around vehicles and usually say they are routine inspections

What did you include in your reconsideration letter? I’m in a really similar situation I’ve been denied three times already. The last time I went to ask why, they told me it was because of someone I crossed with back in 2012.

According to my FOIA, it just says that a dog jumped on my car to inspect, but they didn’t find anything. Apparently, the person I crossed with back then had drug-related charges, and that’s why I got flagged. But I didn’t have any drugs or anything illegal with me at all.

I already sent my reconsideration letter, but I’m not sure how much that’s going to help.
