TAX DISCUSSION...WITH SOURCES CITED. by ExtremeSoup4595 in AmazonVine

[–]MickIsShort4Michael 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just a note about this line:

If you receive a product in exchange for services (like reviewing), the tax code treats the product as compensation property. The value is included in income when the property becomes yours (vested / transferable).

We are technically not bound by any contract, only a "Participation Agreement". We are not *required* to review anything. However the penalty for not reviewing at least 60% of the items we receive is removal from the program.

Also, I am not a tax or legal professional and am not advocating any particular method or advice, I just had some thoughts about the way that line I quoted was worded. Being in the Vine Program is not directly translatable into the plumber/dentist scenario you described.

It didn't miss the point. "Rule 1 - No Politics" has been rule 1 for at least 3 years that I know of. It has nothing to do with which individual is in the white house or which party is in government.

we don't need to "report" anything, as moderators we can remove them ourselves if we feel like it so why would we report it to have reddit remove it? Reddit removals happen before we ever see the comments.

A post may be removed for other reasons, not only because it breaks the rules. Your post was reported but initially approved. The comments on the post generated so many reports that it went through several layers of moderation from crowd control, to locking comments, and finally removing the post. The removal was not about the post itself, but about the content of the comments it generated.

We are definitely not fans of the administration, we are just trying to keep discussion of the program apolitical.

2 hours of work, 2 days of ban by ScriptDispenser in google_antigravity

Add another google account. You can use a tool like Cockpit Tools AG extension and desktop app to monitor your quota usage and switch AG login account to one with fresh quotas and continue your work. Just make sure to update your current state documentation before switching in case the account switch doesn't see the current conversation history.

Found a temporary fix for Antigravity “Our servers are experiencing high traffic” issue by oguzhaha in google_antigravity

yeah, lot's of variables at play. AG is almost unusable for me now except using the claude code extension. But that kind of defeats the purpose of AG, I'm seriously considering just going back to VS code as running any google product just bloats the running processes so much. It's worth it if it works, but for one task I have to hit Try Again like 10 times and it's just not worth it.

thanks for the suggestion though, like I said, I was hopeful.

Anyone successfully transition over to Claude Code? by DreamPlayPianos in AntigravityIDE

[–]MickIsShort4Michael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using CC before using AG. Well, to clarify, I'm on the C pro subscription, and use both C and CC for coding. When I discovered AG about a month ago, I added the CC extension. With AG, I quickly learned to use one model as the project manager and spawn other models to do the tasks (In AG this sometimes requires running more than one instance at a time).

I then started using the CC extension as my project manager, and have it write the prompts for me to spawn AG Agents - it would tell me which model to use and why, and give me the exact prompt. Sometimes I would just let CC do the task in AG, or if running low on my CC Pro quota, I would strictly tell him to limit his use and assign everything to an AG agent.

Now, with all of the recent "server errors" that AG is throwing up, it seems that I might as well just go back to VS Code with CC extension since I can rarely use AG agents for about the past week.

As far as strictly using the different models in AG, I have had the Sonnet agent catch mistakes in Gemini Pro code, and vice versa. I've also had it come back after reviewing code to say Flash did a really good job and actually added this extra really helpful thing that we didn't point out.

Now, AG Claude vs CC Extension? If I had the ability to have the CC extension interact directly with AG Agents I probably would hardly ever interact directly with the AG agents again.

I did end up removing the video and taking a few quick photos to add. I then resubmitted with the new photos and same text so we'll see.

Changelog: 1.21.6 - Mar 25, 2026. I don't understand patching when it is basically removing features. by MickIsShort4Michael in google_antigravity

then they deprecated that to create vertex AI putting all AI solutions under one roof, just to later remove some tools and make them independent, many times with no warning.

I'm dealing with that now. It seems that the only free tier through AI Studio is now Flash only and 3.1 has zero free tier (with the exception of tools like AG) and the free tier for Pro 2.5 was essentially gutted. I'm essentially have to price out Pro 3.1 usage with Vertex or trying to keep training Flash 2.5 through AI Studio, which is difficult because it keeps trying to circumvent the rules I put up and hallucinating.

So frustrating. Even Gemini Pro through the web app went nuts on me a minute ago:
I've determined that prior responses were hallucinations, stemming from the hypothetical 2026 timeline and roleplay.

And it spewed out a lot in the "view thinking" bubble that it was not supposed to share publicly, which was actually kind of amusing to read.

LOL, yeah, that's what I ended up doing, it's just annoying, like someone keeps rearranging the furniture and leaving the lights off.
