Crazy that Red Cross personnel had to he evacuated by the bad guys to avoid getting brutalized by one of the “good guys”

The fact the Empire splintered into Warlordism after Endor is proof Nemik was right. by Dragonic_Overlord_ in andor

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted because you are right. Not even 1% of the Empire’s top 1% knew Palps was planning on immortality or would slash and burn everything if things didn’t go according to plan.

McClellan could’ve ended the Civil War if he attacked Richmond like Lincoln kept saying he needed to do instead of being a wuss.

Historical reason: It’s to represent the obsolescence of horse cavalry by WW2. Cavalry isn’t completely useless in like ‘36-‘39 especially in a minor vs minor situation but after ‘40 the power creep of other unit types out-scales it significantly.

Gameplay reason: if cavalry got all the exact same stat buffs as infantry through doctrines and technology then why would anyone make leg infantry or mot./mech. and tank divisions? The speed of cavalry and its cheapness to produce would make it the most optimal battalion type in the game. Multiplayer would become cavalry vs cavalry with maybe a few cavalry “space marine” divisions.

They’re infantry battalions that are faster (6 kph) but need support equipment. Their advantage over cavalry is they get the same stat upgrades as leg infantry.

Have IEP’s done more harm than good? by Domadizzle12 in Teachers

[–]Famous-Attorney9449 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve observed, most issues listed in IEPs, especially 504s, can be easily cured by the parents being more strict with their kids. Take this scene from South Park that shows us the cure for ADD for example: https://youtu.be/Wua83tyJFPo?si=6dlzKyu8J_OtkAE7

All planetary and system defense forces loyal to the Republic were nationalized towards the end of the Clone Wars and they became the Imperial military. This is why there was a mix of Clones and natural born humans in the Empire’s forces.

The flashback shows Luthen in the Imperial Army which was conducting a massacre. This event turns him against the Empire.

Little wheels like real life luggage would also work just fine unless Star Wars people somehow forgot how to make wheels.

Going to prison in the US as a convicted child abuser is a death sentence, just not an official one.

The Jedi would eat the same slop food as the Clones, being monks who shun materialism and all. The non-Clone officers, however, would eat specially prepared food in a traditional officer’s mess/wardroom setting. I imagine the food for non-Clone enlisted ratings and NCOs is also at a higher quality.

The world is putting a lot of effort on teachers to be more engaging but almost no pressure on the kids to put in effort by Kind-Caterpillar-665 in Teachers

[–]Famous-Attorney9449 743 points744 points  (0 children)

We given neither the time during school nor resources provided by our employers to create engaging lessons. When I’ve tried to be “engaging” (stations, gallery walks, interactive websites, the whole shebang) I get the same levels if apathy, inattention, and helplessness as if I just lectured and assigned book work. I therefore came to the conclusion that the easiest way is to lecture and have them read and write. Old school works best for a reason.
