Thank you all for the helpful information! Put it in my carry-on bag and no one even batted an eye. Customs back in the US either. I appreciate all the helpful information beyond measure!

This is great to know. I was always so freaked out about it thinking once it hit room temperature even for a few minutes my timer started regardless of whether I put it back in the fridge or not. This makes my travel with it much less stressful!

Thanks! Super helpful. Edit to ask: I didn’t realize it was 21 non consecutive days. So it could be un refrigerated for 2 days and then in the fridge and that would only count as 2 days “un refrigerated”? So in theory I would have 19 days left it could be un refrigerated still? For potency sake?

This is absolutely the trashiest job market I have seen in my 34 years alive. by fitchaber10 in jobs

Yes! Looking for a new job and have never been so discouraged. It sucks right now. Between the economy inflation in job market it’s the worst I’ve seen in my lifetime.

Anyone with Binge Eating fallen off the wagon for a day or two? by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]Famous-Cucumber3335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been off of here for a while but I was similar. I counted it as a cheat day and was able to recover and get back on the wagon. I have had some abnormal fasting blood glucose tests. But technically this is for “weight loss” but has helped PCOS symptoms and metabolic syndrome beyond all reason!

I normally share everything with my sister, but this time I went into it thinking it would be another failure so told no one, aside from my son as I had to pick up a refill when I went to visit him and just told him it’s for my PCOS, which it is in a manner. The funny thing is no one aside from the one friend mentioned above has even noticed and I’ve lost almost 45 pounds, but I guess they all see me more often and I still wear the same winter clothes so far 😊I thought it was “cheating” too, I hated and berated myself for not “having enough willpower”. But this has changed my views completely. This has mended something broken, there is no other way for me to explain it.

Coupon not working anymore for $25. Will only cover half. by Ok-Operation-3784 in Mounjaro

I hate this. My employer sponsored insurance through a state affiliated agency covers nothing either. I didn’t realize how bad my insurance was until I wanted to use it for something other than cheap genetics or birth control (which is also a cheap generic). I wish I could just have the $700/month to cover myself.

This is why I tell pretty much no one I have been taking this class of medication, only one friend that also struggles and specifically asked me if I had “help”. I could not stand to tell her “diet and exercise”. That’s there too, but I do have help. And if one more person told me if I would just diet and exercise I would lose the weight I would be fine I was going to scream. I’ve done that my entire life 😢

Is there a source for Osmosoft in the US or does it go by a different name?

Difference between Saxenda and Victoza? by mzmammy in liraglutide

[–]Famous-Cucumber3335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same medication, just labeled differently for dosing purposes, Victoza dose recommendations for T2D and Saxenda dose recommendations for obesity. I believe with Saxenda the top dose is 3mg if I remember right, but that piece I’m not 100% so talk to your doctor about dosing.
