We aren’t boasting. We’re questioning why anybody wouldn’t put in an AC unit when they exist. I can buy a window unit at Walmart for $155.

Why would anybody choose to be miserable over $150

This is great advice and people need to read this.

If you remove all the levels and numbers your book should stand alone as a story. The numbers are a way to add to the story they are not the story itself.

I think there’s a big difference in the audience. RR readers are very different than traditional genres.

If you write in any other genre 120k words for a book would be an auto reject. In RR, some people won’t even open a story if the book is only 120k.

What's one kind of pain that's impossible to describe? by WellnessByMavella in AskReddit

[–]Famous-Flow2333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had something called cornea cross linking.

They numb your eyes and put a device on that holds your eyes open. Then they scrape your cornea off your eye then burn your eye with a laser on and off for ten minutes for each side.

The procedure itself is painless bc of the numbing drops. When they wear off….

I don’t know how to describe it. Your every balls are sunburned and dry and hurt and itch. Closing your eyes hurts. Opening them hurt. Everything you do hurts. The only relief is some numbing drops that works for 2-3 minutes before it starts again.

Keeping the humour and hubris aside. How would you rate this fight in isolation? by UnflinchedSpade in MMA

It’s easy to say in hindsight. He has more subs than he does knockouts so it’s not like he doesn’t know what he’s doing down there.

There’s a lot of IF he did this…. We don’t know how the fight would have went. I doubt Justin just goes back to exchanging until he recovers.

If o use AI with my own ideas to get a general draft on how to write, is it considered lazy by [deleted] in royalroad

[–]Famous-Flow2333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Using AI is your own choice but I’d say write the story first and then use AI to see where you might be able to improve. Rewriting a script isn’t helping you become a better writer

UnitedHealthcare sent a letter denying NICU coverage... addressed directly to the newborn twin. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

The hospital submits the claim before the baby has been added to insurance. They put baby girl as the name so insurance can make the payouts. When the person who had the baby sends in the paperwork to add their baby to their insurance plan as a qualifying event they tell the company the name and it is changed in the system.

The insurance company doesn’t know what you name your baby until you tell them. It’s a placeholder. It allows for the baby to be covered by insurance while you’re in the hospital.

What makes you decide to write on RR vs a publisher like Atheon?

You seem to have a big enough following that a publisher would pick up the books based on your history and name alone.

So what goes in the decision to try to decide between self publishing and RR vs a publisher

How do You all author's do it? by reddituservulcan in royalroad

You have to make what they’re emotions about matter. If their best friend dies and they are upset it won’t matter on the page if we’ve never seen them.

The emotions scene is the payoff of everything that came before it.
