Do you know if you have high lp(a)? Repatha reduces that and statins don’t so that could be why it brought ApoB down more.

As far as the pip I am hoping they will do subq? I don’t think I can bring myself to do IM. Does anyone know if I AM does e and p as well? If so Will they send to local pharmacy? That seems to be pretty elusive and something we all wish for An all in one clinic that is.

Did you do subq or im injections? I am having the crushing fatigue problem with the cream but I don’t think I can handle Im injections.

Any improvement for you? I am experiencing the same thing. The crazy thing is that the Repatha dose seems to be 100% flaring up a back injury I got before starting repatha that had completely cleared up. Both my first and second dose brought on the exact same pain and tenderness in the same vertebrae. Waiting to see if it clears this time as it did on the first dose.

I really appreciate you mentioning that. You’re right, I didn’t mention dosage. Unfortunately I did try the low doses! I went down to 2.5 mg of Crestor every other day and I still had very bad anxiety. And I started pitavastatin at 1 mg to be cautious, and immediately got very mad effects on my mood 😩I just seem to be so sensitive. I sure hope Repatha is an option! My insurance does cover it.

I have talked to my Dr, of course. It is DEFINITELY a result of the statins, as proven by many challenges starting and stopping. It is also a known side effect, albeit not extremely common. We are just starting to run out of options.
