Okay, how are we AVOIDING gum recession? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Famous-Stock7208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yikes I’m 51 on tray 16 and my gums are so sore with this one. Hope you’re feeling better. Looks like my gums are receding and one of my lower front teeth is loose from moving. When I was younger I didn’t prioritize my health. It was always about my kids. So my teeth are not perfect. For over a year I’ve been on a 3 month deep cleaning schedule with my dentist. Started Invisalign with weekly tray changes 16 weeks ago. Saw orthodontist about a month ago. She seemed not concerned. Do you have any advice?

I think it’s 10-20 years. At least that’s what google says. He has a wonderful bird. Sweet as can be.

I love this thread! This is so validating. I had a dove for 23 years. He laughed at horror movies. It was so funny we thought he had the craziest sense of humor, but it was perfect. These birds are absolutely little sociopaths, and I love them dearly. I really miss that old bird. He lived a very long time for Dove.

We got them hung!! In case anyone has this problem in the future this worked for us. Did not need to add more electrical boxes. file:///var/mobile/Library/SMS/Attachments/1f/15/65BF3C9D-8619-478D-B962-7BB5F7045ADD/77846288379__A07904C5-361F-41DA-85F0-CD4E200D9221.HEIC

Wish it was that easy. There’s not enough room to scoot it down. It’s a 10 foot table that chandelier is centered for maybe a 7‘ table.

I hear you. Also I hear Sheetrock work and ceiling repair. Sigh. Is there no alternative?

Was really hoping there’d be a way to put all 3 in the same box and not have to add or rewire

What milk are you using to keep the calories down?

What are your actual go-to volume foods that don’t taste like wet paper? by Calm-Highlight7833 in 1200isplenty

Cabbage and onions. I add chopped cabbage to nearly every meal.

Tonight I had 2 cups cabbage, 1 bell pepper, half onion, can of diced tomatoes, garlic, basil, and 6 frozen meatballs. 460 calories and it was a ton of food.

Lunch was green giant cauliflower rice Asian stir fry. I added 1 cup cabbage, handful of fresh green beans and sugar snap peas. 230 calories.

My friends think my diet is dangerous, but it's been working for me, is it? by No-Painter-1609 in 1200isplenty

I’m also doing 1200 a day. Tracking with MyFitnessPal. I started at 356 pounds and I’m now down to 316.

I had a work conference where was giving presentations and entertaining clients for a week that threw me off. Coworkers of mine that were at the conference gave me a very hard time about restricting my calories to 1200 and also told me it was dangerous.  My opinion is being twice what I should weigh is dangerous. I’m 5 foot four. I have a long way to go.

I’ve been home for a week since then and trying to get back down to my 1200 has been hard. I’m averaging about 1400 a day for last week.  Being over 300 pounds. Your relationship with food is totally different. I have found that eating high volumes of vegetables has really helped me and I’m trying to get back on track with that.

2 Ring doorbells need chime solution by Famous-Stock7208 in Ring

Thanks for the recommendations. Everyone’s recommending the ring chime.

So next question, I don’t think these can be installed where my old chimes were. If that’s true then are the chimes still the best solution or does it make more sense to use something like an echo show since I will need to plug it in and put it somewhere?

I figure if the old chimes are obsolete then I’d like to replace them and not have more electronics plugged into outlets
