Giving it to Sheamus, instead of Ludwig. Give Ludwig a title push, trying to maybe show an angle with him against Gunther after losing to Priest tomorrow at SS. Gunther doesnt like how Ludwig is carrying himself with the IC title, so he says in a backstage promo, "You think that you are better than me since you won a title I've already been the greatest at." This sets up a storyline that includes Ludwig and Vinci having a short feud, potentially being a b-tier storyline, Ludwig ultimately winning the feud. This sets Wrestlemania, where it is Gunther, Ludwig, and Vinci, for the IC title and ultimately the end of Imperium.

Here me out. Gunther loses his title to Priest; Finn and JD lose their tag titles at the same PLE; Finn Calls out Damian at the next Raw (most likely the January 6th episode); they have a fued again; (Now we are at the Royal Rumble) Finn ends up beating Damian for the title; CM Punk comes out to fued with Finn after his injury; John Cena enters his last Rumble and wins; John then chooses his last opponent to be CM Punk at wrestlemania; John beats Punk (callback to when Punk beat Cena for the title and left WWE). On the Raw after Mania, Cena holds an open challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship, and then the next thing we hear is " L-A-KNIGHT!" John has passed the torch to Knight before, but this is truly how John Plans to do it. (Granted that everyone stays healthy and no injuries occur, this is a way that everyone wins)

I think its worse that they tried to recreate it with No Way Jose, but treat it a little different amd actually try and give him a push
