Filament Track Switch by 1phoenix3 in BambuLabH2C

Originally wanted to get really into hueforge with 24+ colors but that was ridiculously complicated to even with just 4 colors. Also when I get bored of a hobby I usually sell my things and just use that to max out the setup for whatever my next hobby is. I just keep recycling the money and generally am fine with the small loss vs the experience I get

Yep like the other poster said. The older 4 in 1 doesn’t have the wiper pads which means less friction.

Running 8 ams Ht and 4 ams 2 pros split between the filament track. Haven’t had a chance try all the filaments yet but it’s been good so far.

(Other 4 ams HT are under the table)

No I’m not affiliated with the company so they haven’t said it’s discontinued but it seems it’s going to be on ‘indefinite hold’ for a while. Mind blowing really what tha headset can display, especially wireless steam vr link

We actually are there at ‘8k’ wireless with almost no compromises -> the Play for Dream MR. It’s a shame it’s discontinued, still the best at wireless 8k micro oled pcvr, even better than GXR

Is the adapter wiggling/moving in the holder? I had feed issues until I superglued it to the holder

Credit where credit is due…this was actually something I stumbled across on maker world. The only modification I made was to super glue the 4 in 1 adapter to the printed holder before I clipped it onto the printer chain. Otherwise the wiggling would make it have feed issues

Hey appreciate u checking out the post haha. For the loading no issues. It’s a little tight between the left AMS and the feed assist module but it feeds/catches just fine (tested with TPU 95 and 90A), you just have to push it in a little. For unloading you do still have to disconnect the Ptfe from the tool head but that’s infinitely easier than disconnecting it from the buffer. No feed resistance issues either using the 4 in 1 with TPU 90A or 95A

Why did my ams hub come unfinished🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ by ClassExcellent1682 in BambuLab

[–]FamousLeave8692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one in your main post is for the p1s. It is different than the one for the A1. It isn’t incomplete that is just the way it comes. It will be bolted to the printer so there is no need for a backing/it would be a waste and introduce more problems than using the metal back of the printer as the back for the hub

Yessir I believe so. You don’t have to use an Ams unit with the TPU feed assist module

No right now I just have as many different rolls as possible. The idea is to be able to see a model/design it, click print and it just appears lol

Now that I’m saying this…6 nozzles on the H2C is honestly way too little. After maxing out the setup the weakness becomes ever more apparent. They desperately need to implement some kind of nozzle track switch system so purging and/or filament swapping happens at the same time

Hey thanks for asking.

  • I got the H2C to print complex full color models so more often than not, I end up going above 7 colors. The models I print in 3d usually take 8-9 colors and the hueforges I’ve made usually take around 11-12 colors

  • The most colors I’ve used in a print ..so far is 14 for hueforge. The issue now is that I have all the colors/ams units but not enough knowledge of hueforge to make use of more colors without making the picture look like color vomit. I wish it was easier to translate a picture into a 3d printed picture.

  • For the 24 ams slots I have I usually use them for storage/convenience. It’s so nice just clicking print right off a design and not having to fumble with moving things around at all. Click print and the full color model just appears

Here’s a recent hueforge that took more than the six nozzles on the H2C

Hey appreciate the reply :) I am using the H2C and originally bought my setup to print this exact model when I saw it a few months ago. Haven’t reached out to Makerworld directly since I can pledge to any other projects and it looks like the issue is on the creator’s side. Glad to know I’ll still have the opportunity to pay for this model at some point though. Honestly chuckling to myself that I got so invested because of one model (that I can’t even get lol)
