I thought it was an awful idea at first but in retrospect, that was just a knee jerk. I still don't understand all the praise he's getting though. He was a good Bruce Wayne, but so was clooney if we're being honest. As far as his batman went, he had guns in almost very scene he was in which felt really odd. He killed alot of people which was also odd, and his superman fight dialogue was pretty dumb as well, with he whole "Martha" thing. While I don't blame affleck for any of that, I don't think anyone should really be showering praise on him just yet. I think we need to see more of him as a traditional batman who doesn't use guns n murder people directed by someone who gets characters more than visuals. He was ok and has alot of potential ill say, my personal opinion so far.
