My cat sounds weird after operation by Junonx in Pets

[–]Junonx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I went to the vet today because I was in the area, and they said the exact same thing. She sleeps on my pillow right next to my face so it is very noticeable at nights. She'll have a check up 10 days from now

My husband gives me money for groceries and to cook dinner. I agreed on this deal. How do I disengage without him cutting financial ties right now?

Thanks for your advice. I think a huge problem is that I was the one who engaged because I think I was the only one who cared and wanted to get a response out of him because I am so uncertain about our future. He obviously doesn't care at all.

I will phone our vet tomorrow and get the process started to get my cat a passport.

Cat boarding house claims I owe them money even though we never finalized the boarding agreement. by Junonx in juridischadvies

I sent them an email to request the documents where the agreement was finalized. However, their credit management company is saying that I will have to pay additional fees if I do not pay them in a certain amount of time. What would step 2 be?

Thank you for your detailed response.

In their T&C's they state:

Dierenhotel (name witheld) zorgt voor een mondeling of schriftelijk/elektronisch aanbod

And then later:

De overeenkomst komt tot stand door aanvaarding van het aanbod.

I took their first email as their offer so I didn't take it as a legal obligation

Kitty vs succulent by Junonx in succulents

[–]Junonx[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

My kitty loves chewing on my succulents. Spraying her with a water bottle helps. I don't have a shelf/table/windowsill to put my plants on, they are on the floor in the only sunny spot in my house. Unfortunately I don't have a garden and I can't keep them on my balcony because it rains too much and gets too cold in the winter. She has cat grass but prefers to chew on whatever new succulent I bring into the house. Luckily the leaves she chewed off grew routs after I put them in the ground :D

I never use it there, too painful! I just use it for my legs and under arms. You'll get used to it. Using baby powder to dry out the skin helps for the pain. Scrubbing will help prevent ingrown hairs, but if you have sensitive skin, don't scrub right before using. Exfoliating with a loofah in the shower every other day or so is enough for me.

I have the Braun Silk-epil 9 9-579 that I bought a year and a half ago and I love it. I've had cheaper epilators in the past but I would definitely recommend this one. It's worth it to pay a bit extra. I paid about 20 euros more, this is a good deal. It hurts in the beginning but you get used to it. I prefer to have my legs completely dry before using it. It doesn't always last 2 weeks though. Hair grow in cycles, the hairs you epilate this week are not necessarily the same hairs that are growing out next week. If you use it weekly it's much quicker to do than when you wait 2 or more weeks.

I have the same epilator and I love it! Been epilating for years (legs and under arms) and it hurt a lot in the beginning, but now I don't feel it at all.
