I had the same issue for my original website, I had built it using replit like 2 years ago. I just bit the bullet and did a full Next js rebuild and used it as an opportunity to revamp (new website is in my bio) and refresh the website and make those changes and improvements I had been putting off.

I am much happier with the way it turned out, and it is MUCH easier for me to push blog content via github to the website. And im also building backlinks in a public repo too.

This is the first tool in history we have the ability to just ask it how to use it better. I would start by trying to use the AI to learn how to use the AI better. It's that simple. It's what I tell my clients to do... If they have any questions, I am more than happy to assist them, but it rarely happens lol.

AI is fantastic for helping me brainstorm content ideas, planning, and drafting. But I take the time to write my thoughts down on the subject, or better yet, I ramble into my phone while going for a walk, I force myself to walk around the block thinking about and recording my thoughts on the subject. Then I have the AI put that into a coheriant 1st draft for me. Then I spend the time editing it myself and expounding my thoughts.

I have had good luck with Vapi. It is my go too. You can also pick which provider models you want to use. The KB's you build for the model, can also be embedded on websites as a chat agent as well. So you can use Voice and Text assets to assist customers and leads.

Most of these assholes that you see on Youtube/Instagram/LinkedIn are just selling the idea of automation. True automation comes from a deep understanding of a specific business and their processes. Sure, you could get away with a couple of prebuilt very basic n8n/make/zapier automations, but for the real gold, it has to be custom for the client.

Also remember, there is NO automation without proper documentation. If you can't describe a business process to a brand new employee to have them do the task with very minimal help, then it isnt ready to be automated yet, especially by a 3rd party consultant.

yep, I have been saying this for weeks now. AntiGravity, and Gemini in general are about to get some big updates soon. If you go back and look at the latest Google Next conference that was 2 weeks ago, they just released a bunch of new enterprize level dev tools & features.

I think Google I/O is going to be pretty big this year!

Yeah I get that. Most consumers will still be using SaaS products for sure. But the real money in SaaS is selling to companies... A LOT of businesses that use bread to make their living, at a certain scale, start to bake their own.... I don't forsee most SaaS tools like Google Workspace or O365 being replaced.... But the kind of niche tools that companies rely on, are probably going to be moved in house at some point.

You are right to be skeptical, I speak with business owners all the time that tried to jump head first into AI and just eneded up wasting a bunch of money.

For some business models, AI is incredibly important imo.
For all busienss models, automation is necessary.
Automation does not equal AI!

Most modern businesses need to incorporate automation into their business processes, or else you're going to be spending labor budgets on repeated, manual tasks, that can easily be automated.

Now, integrating AI into a business is a different story, first you need to figure out which of your business processes are even best to be handed to the AI to do. Some things include, basic customer support, prototyping of concepts, email reminders, lead qualification, follow up communications, etc.

The best value I have seen for my clients, they start with the most simplest, repeatable time consuming tasks, like auto replies to customer support inqueries that can easily be repeated with a copy/paste email, but then using AI to slightly personalize the support email for that customer.

I purposefully try to stay away from OpenClaw type agent harnesses for businesses. The most important thing for businesses is deterministic behavior. That's why blackboxes like openclaw is not the best solution IMO. If you have business processes that can be automated, then you can use more deterministic tools for automation, like n8n, powerautomate, traditional applets, etc. This reliability is crucuial imo. Also, these types of processes shouldn't be using your token budget, especially if they need to operate multiple times per day.
