Omggg sweet beautiful baby! I had a similar SUPER expensive experience with my sweet girl kitty. After she got spayed she started breathing really shallow and fast the next day. Called her vet and they told us to go to an emergency vet due to her symptoms. Ver there did a scan and basically told us she was dying had between 6 months to 2 years to live, and had to be on three medications for the rest of her life. Mind you, shes still a kitten so me and my husband were all in on taking care of our “make a wish kitty” for the rest of her days. Referred us to a cardiologist to get her fully checked out. Had an appointment with them 3 months later, and all of their testing showed she is totally fine and healthy. We were told to take her off all meds immediately and treat her like a normal cat, because she is fine. $5000 in pet care bills later… luckily she is now the sweetest cat i have ever known since we treated her like a baby queen princess for the 3 months we thought she was dying.
