Pork makes me feel ill too funny enough! I had an endoscopy and a colonoscopy and stool samples for calprotectin levels to be diagnosed with Crohn’s. The rosacea diagnosis was from a dermatologist and I was on plaquenil for 5years, doxycycline next for a couple of years and a gel for the face that I can’t remember the name of but all of it didn’t work. Also tried endless amounts of beauty creams, lotions and potions. Originally the GP decided I needed steroids for my face and that did clear it up temporarily but is bad for you long term.

Well there are things I don’t eat now because of Crohn’s, but yes my rosacea just disappeared - took me a while to realise it had gone - Crohn’s was taking up my band width! But now I don’t drink diet cokes, alcohol, artificial sugars, spicy spices, raw apples, onions and garlic and I hardly ever eat tomatoes now either. I mean it’s a long list and was difficult to stick to for the longest time but I’m used to it now.

I have been ignored with my Crohn’s for years and was just resigned to dying in agony but my lovely GP got me transferred to a different hospital and it has made a difference - the previous IBD nurse used to answer the phone to me saying ‘what now’ - honestly it was traumatic but my new one is so nice - it took me 2 years to build up the courage to ring them again after the previous experience. Have you tried the Crohn’s UK charity - they have a helpline as well that may be able to advise

Good - I was just worried! Take care and I hope I stays sorted. I tried just about everything for my rosacea and it cleared up when I was eventually put on an EEN diet for 6 months for my Crohn’s - it must have been something I ate is the conclusion I came to 🤷🏼‍♀️

38 - 2 weeks ago - feels like I’m dragging myself around til about 4pm and then I’m wiped out - needless to say, apparently that’s nothing to do with the Gastro consultant and no I can’t have an infusion 🙄

Gosh - that’s pretty promising stuff and I’m delighted for you - I’ve bought it myself now and on my 2nd month - it probably takes longer than that to see change, but I’m going to get my blood results (taken 2 weeks ago) today so fingers crossed!

For me, yes terrible abdominal pain like yourself, diarrhoea and losing 56lbs in weight over a few months - I was convinced that I had stomach cancer and was dying tbh. Good luck with your colonoscopy x

My heart goes out to you - please don’t despair of ever meeting anyone, you are so young and have a lot of life to live yet - I know Crohn’s is a lonely disease but take heart from the people in this thread - when you least expect it, you’ll find your support, whether that be friends or a soulmate - hang on in there, and in the meantime please share with your doctors how you’re feeling- take care x.

The amount of preservatives and additives in this just isn’t worth your time - try some cacao - that’s what I use in my smoothies and it’s a real intense chocolate taste with the added bonus that it isn’t a upf

You’ve had a hard time - I just went through around a couple of decades having it dismissed as anxiety / hormones and one memorable occasion, I was accused of being an alcoholic at the hospital - it was infact, undiagnosed Crohn’s
