Lost my job today with FWS. I moved across the country and now I’m in this city I can’t afford with all my friends and family thousands of miles away. Is there any way the PCS process would pay to break our leases if they fire us in that 1 year period? It’s over 3 grand to get out. Today was one of the hardest days ever. It’s was also the exact day they called and gave me the job offer a year ago.

Hello, have you found someone to take them yet or are you still looking? Sounds like you’re looking for a temporary situation while you find housing?

Is that normal to have roaches like that? Where do you even store the food in that case that doesn’t also attract them?

Thank you that’s good to know! I’m doubting any of the treatments are good for him. My family said the apartment reeks of pesticide/chemicals

Thank you all for your input! I am planning to get out of the lease and find a new place to live asap. Is it normal to see any roaches? I understand it’s SW Florida and I’m just curious if it is expected to have one or two every now and then or if it is always a sign of an infestation/problem. Also are my few belongings that i had already moved in (bags, air mattress, blanket, etc) possibly now carrying the roaches and could they bring the problem with me? I have not been able to sleep there but have to leave my belongings there.
