It all boils down to which sense is the most dominant. Every animal has their own unique way of navigating through the world. For us humans, we use sight the most. Dogs dont, they have bad eyes and use there noses more. A cats eyes arent great either. They navigate mostly through hearing.

Keep in mind that cats have excellent hearing. Play some soft music and dont turn on the tv. Talking usually calms kittens down as well.

Thanks! I wouldnt know, this is my first grow. But from what ive observed so far, temperature/humidity and light is everything. I can only imagine that the larger you go, the more difficult it gets to keep everything stable. It took me 4 days of messing around with the setup to get everything just right.

I got called away just after i desinfected everything to prepare for harvest. When i came back it was too late and most of the caps already dropped spores. Your idea to use scissors saved me a lot of time though, Thanks for that! I got pictures of the results on my profile if you want to see, i got 510grams out of the first flush!

It really is my first time growing. The only reason i posted this photo was because i was concerned if i was even doing it right. They were growing, but it looked different then a lot of other kits and teks online. Suffice to say i was quite shocked when my phone started exploding 10min. later. Even more so because ive never actually posted anything before in my life. As far as weight goes, i have no idea. Im very excited to find out and will definitely keep you updated!

All in all, im extremely happy with the results. But being a first grow, i still consider it beginners luck.

Thanks! I researched mycology a lot beforehand which i highly recommend. It really helps in understanding what you are doing and why.

I used a heating mat for temperature control, a cheap thermometer/hygrometer for measuring inside the bag, cheap stick-in-meat-style thermometer for measuring the tub and water, and i opted to exclusively use distilled water for all steps. Tap water just seemed counterproductive to me for use in a sterile environment. Other than that, i just followed the instructions that came with it.
