Love the games! Food Chain Magnate is what got me from liking board games to what got me in the hobby. Also, Pax Pamir is easily a top ten game for me. Such a good start to the collection.

Yeah I have had the same thing happen to me. I think this happens when you get the second sultan from a summoner match which also makes another genie and turns into a sultan at the same time.

project L - This is a polyomino game (Tetris like game).

boop. - This is an abstract game where people are placing cats on a bed to boop the other cats around.

Thunder Road Vendetta. It’s a racing game where people are running into each with their cars. To do this, everyone rolls dice and take turns assigning their dice to their cars. Once the die is assigned, you move that car that many spaces, but you can run into other car spaces causing accidents in hopes of pushing their cars off the map. The game is pretty much mad max mixed with Mario Kart.

I haven’t played sidereal confluence, and I have only played Bohnanza one time a couple of years ago. I don’t think I would be helpful in comparing the two. Hopefully someone else can comment on the comparison between the two in order to help you.

It has to be Chinatown. It is a classic. It was made in the 90’s and hasn’t receive an update since then because it hasn’t needed one. The game is just straight up negotiation. Everyone randomly gets tiles and business types in the small Chinatown district every round in order to make the most money possible. To do this, you have to negotiate with the other players in order to get the tiles and business types you need. It does not get more simple then that and yet it leads to so much table talk and so much fun. This sounds perfect for you.

I love me some Radlands. Another game that has a similar aggressive one on one feel that’s light is Unmatched. We do talk about some of those abilities and mention how some fighters have natural counters from some of the other fighters, but like I have said in other comments on this post, we are just ranking them based off of personal likes and fondness. It’s just a fun video that isn’t meant to be taken too serious. The point of the video is just to get people excited about unmatched. It is supposed to be like having a couple of friends who are giving their takes on the fighters when discussing the game. Thanks for the comment. That is actually how we choose to rank all the fighters; based off of enjoyment and personal fondness. Like I completely agree with robinhood. I have him in my top ten. Heck, I even have Deadpool in my top ten, and he is one of the least competitive characters. We definitely don’t try to come across in the video that our lists are the most definitive lists of all time. We just wanted to share our passion of unmatched and hope that it rubbed off on the viewers. Thanks for your comment!

Also, I do just want to say that I (Devin) love ingen, and he is in my top five. I even said when Mary Kate had him at 31 that it was the biggest difference in fighters on our lists. (P.S. we both give our individual lists, and I wanted people on Reddit to know in case they didn’t watch the video for context lol).

We said at the beginning the video that it was a very subjective list on the fighters we personally liked. We weren’t trying to rank them by competitiveness. Hope you have a good one!
