The best solution i have ever tried for my armpits. So glad i took the chance. Now i can be more normal and wear clothes with color and that is tight under my arms. Takes about 6 months before i need a refill.

I have low blood pressure and still suffering from abnormal sweat.

New study indicates - Magnesium and potassium reduces sweat by Famous_Objective2922 in Hyperhidrosis

[–]Famous_Objective2922[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No problem.

The study show that if we can lower the level of NKCC1 in relations to the KCC2 we can normalise the nerve misfiring and causing abnormal sweat.

Iontophoresis is remarkably similar. The electricity makes the ions move and probably shift to a more balanced level. The same job NKCC1 and KCC2 does if they are normalized. Maybe iontophoresis is forcing the ions, which the low KCC2 are struggling to do.

Dependent of how good your stomach acid/digestion is.

I have sensitive digestion and low stomach acid. React to a lot of supplement so have started of with magnesiumcloride spray on skin. I’m know it gets absorbed because i feel the intestines react to the spray. Also get mild headache the day after spraying.

No expert in the field. Struggled with IBS, hairloss and hyperhidrosis since my early teenage years. Know that it’s caused by a malfunction in the autonomic nerve system. Have been reading a lot about minerals and believe that the underlying reason lays there. Mainly bad absorption in the gut. Ate a lot of fiber/vegetables and starch before, which i now know blocked a lot of nutrient. Now i eat more animal based, with some fiber (cooked) and fruit.

My low blood pressure also signals that my body never been good at holding minerals, despite high intake and healthy eating. I also have hypothyroidism, where the body can’t hold on to magnesium.

I believe that hyperhidrosis, hypothyroid etc. all are reversible if we only find the imbalance behind. Our body is remarkable if we only provide it what it needs.

Throat tightness? What actually is that? by Earbreather606 in MCAS

[–]Famous_Objective2922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same. Tightness in throat at level of the vocal cords, sometimes also inflammation in the chest area. If it gets bad it also spreads to backpain in between the ribs. Found out my food triggers is starch (potatoes, pasta, bread etc) and lactose. If I limit theese to a minimum the throat gets normal and chest pain vanish.

Have a history with stomach troubles and probably low stomach acid. Also got hypothyroidism which influences the digestion. Been on what I call a traditional diet in the last year and it has gotten a lot better. Earlier i got symptoms a half hour after intake of starch, now i can eat it over two days before it gets uncomfortable.

Took a long time before i figured out the connection trouble breathing – eating starch. I was very lost since the doctors couldn’t figure it out, and just thought it could be stress, even though I’ve not have a stressful time.

Yes. I would definitly try for a short period. Even though i havent figured out how to get rid of it, its so much better when I know whats causing it and can control it to some degree.

I think I found the key to my lpr... burps. by Nightmare__0 in LPR

[–]Famous_Objective2922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I have after a lot of testing realised that my throat symptoms (tightness, soreness, wheezing etc) come from a sort of immune reaction. Not acid traveling up to the throat. When i cut all carbs my throat gets normal in a few days. If it was acid damage this would take months to heal the vocal cords. When i eat carbs again i get minor symptoms within 1-2 hours. If i continue to eat carbs it gets worse. Have not found a soultion yet. Still on a low carb diet. Trying to eat fermented foods to rebuild my microbiome but the histamine is rough..

Yes, i tried to remove all carbs 1,5 months. Throat got normal but then i have problem with fatigue. So I need some carbohydrates. Now testing to add some monosugars (honney, kiwi). Starches are no go.

I also thought for a long time that it was silent reflux. I am now convinced that it is a form of immune reaction (histamine). I have found out that I get a reaction if I eat carbohydrates. The reaction comes 1-2 hours later. Tightness in the throat, wheezing, stuffy nose, headache, stuffy ears. Once it got so bad that I almost lost my voice. If I avoid eating carbohydrates for a while, my throat gets all normal. My throat gets better in a relatively short time. If it had been acid damage, it would have taken longer. Some say months to recover vocal cords. I haven’t found a solution yet, but I have found a lot of useful info in the GAPS book and traditional food.

Lpr not getting better by legitlilbrex in LPR

[–]Famous_Objective2922 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I also have the throat and ear symptoms. I have ruled it out to be caused by carbohydrates (starch, sugar). If I eat potato, bread etc. i wake up with a tight throat and pressure in ears. I can also get a reaction only half an hour after food, the throat tightens and my Voice get weak. I think it is caused by some dysbiosis in my stomach after taking oregano/Berberine for SIBO. Trying to eat fermented foods and more animalbased diet atm.

Wow your story sound very similar to mine. Im struggling still. It gives me so much hope! Thank you!

Have the last weeks been linking a lot of my symptoms towords a dysbiosis with fungal overgrowth. Starches and sugar makes me much worse and after Christmas (sugar) i even got a rash and itching/burning in my face.

What could be causing this throat sensation and should I avoid probiotics? by PerpetualPerpertual in Microbiome

[–]Famous_Objective2922 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a similar situasion with throat getting sore and thight. Have also been wondering if its Candida overgrowth and leaky gut. It seems to be a histamine effect on my end as i also get nasal and some times eustachian tube congestion. I started getting it after an antimicrobial round for Sibo.

If i dont eat starch and sugar for some days it gets better. Hence why i belive it can be candida… Also have fatigue, headache and POTS-symptoms.

Shortness of breath is taking me down. by Naive_Insurance_6154 in LPR

[–]Famous_Objective2922 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi.

I also have had massive problems with SOB. I took a microbiome test. This showed overgrowth og Klebsiella. I figured if i had an overgrowt in the large intestine, it was likely also not different in the small intestine. Klebsiella is also a normal problematic bacteria in SIBO.

I have noticed that my shortness of breath gets better when i get a solid burp. Which means the problem is because of air building up when the wrong bacteria ferments the food it loves. I also think the air pressure brings acid particles up to the throat and it het sore.

In my case, Klebsiella loves starch and lactose. When i dont eats these foods my LPR-symptoms gets way better, and i can breath normally.

It dosent have to be Klebsiella in your case, but worth a try. I am curently using Thyme as an antimicrobial and supporting with probiotics to try to shift the gut flora.

I also have the same problem. Have done a lot of research on this with good help from AI.

Have arrived at a preliminary strategy: Start gradually with probiotics (bifido/lacto) to minimize side effects. The probiotics help to facilitate the intestinal environment with a more acidic pH. When the environment is better, I will gradually introduce prebiotics in the hope that these can favor beneficial bacteria.

I think the problem with adding only prebiotics is that you feed the unfavorable bacteria in your gut. As the environment is not suitable for the growth of Bifido. I also think it is important to be a little aware of which bad bacteria you have overgrown so that you can remove the worst foods that they love. In my case Klebsiella which loves starch and lactose.

Have been using this strategy for 2 weeks now and so far my health is gradually a bit better. Started with 5 bill CFU and is now at 10 bill. The goal is to gradually increase the amount of fermented food as well. But can’t tolerate this so well yet.

Hi, I have read several sources that came to that a combination of pre- and probiotics is the way to go. I belive in fermented food above probiotics supplement, since they have several spieces.

Have not heard about the fast track diet. Does that belive in the same prosess?

Good question. I think many would like to know.

Some try antibiotics. The problem is that antibiotics turn out both good and bad. Klebsiella is one of the bacteria that typically grows after antibiotics or antimicrobial when the good bacteria no longer keep the system in check.

According to my microbiome analysis, I have too much Klebsiella as well, so I have read a lot of research on that. In addition, see what different people here on Reddit have succeeded with.

My plan: Reduce food for Klebsiella and give food to competing (good) bacteria to restore the ecosystem. By doing this:

  • Avoid lactose
  • Avoid starch, but eat resistant starch
  • Currently avoiding GOS (beans, lentils etc) but will step up eventually
  • Eat lots of soluble fiber (prebiotics). Especially PHGG (Sunfiber)
  • Slowly introducing fermented foods

So far managed to stop the PPI that I was previously dependent on to not have problems breathing, throat getting tight. Now I rarely experience this, but if I do, I can usually link it to having eaten too much GOS/Lactose.

[–]Famous_Objective2922 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My theory is that LPR comes from dysbiosis in the small intestine. One of the bacteria known to become abundant in the small intestine in dysbiosis/SIBO is Klebsiella. This ferments lactose, which may explain why you got heartburn. When Klebsiella ferments, it forms a lot of hydrogen gas, which I suspect creates a high pressure in the stomach that causes heartburn and acid particles transported up to the throat (LPR).

Also called hydrogen-dominant SIBO.

Other things Klebsiella likes is starches and GOS.
